I bought a few of these for my students who have vision issues. This helps enlarge the texts for them to read more clearly and accurately. The weight is heavy enough that it keeps it sturdy on the page.

Perfect for small print, especially in two-column textbooks or reference books. The yellow guiding line makes it easy to follow a line of text, though the 6" bar isn’t wide enough to cover a full standard page. I also use it on my phone when I can’t zoom in close enough—surprisingly handy for that. The smaller clip-on magnifier is great for compact Bibles and can be attached to the front cover when not in use. Both pieces are lightweight and easy to keep nearby for quick reading support.

After reading the reviews, I was prepared to return this. I am pleasantly surprised by how well it works. It magnifies a decent sized block of text, and the length is adequate for most of the books I'm currently reading -- it seems perfect for most standard sized pages. Overall I think it will be helpful -- even with reading glasses, I need a little extra help with very small text these days. I'm not sure if I'll use the smaller one -- it is quite tiny, but the price is worth it for the larger piece alone.

This is a simple nice little magnifying reading aid . When I was young reading aids like this used to be more common in special education classes type scenarios. Anyway moving forward to the future someone who is a dear friend remembers those eras and feels a special sense of attachment to a very specific shape look and color of reading it. Anyway my good friend had a certain fixation with a certain look and feel and that larger reading bar in this product is an almost perfect match. It was a very good gift to remember something for someone so dear and get it just right visually touch and feel in color if only it could have been just a little more orange. 100% satisfied and more perhaps in a small special way because of somebody got to remember and have a piece of something nostalgic.

I wish it was higher magnification and that it was longer, at least 8½" to cover the entire sheet, cause I have to move the ruler over when I get to the end of the line, sometimes causing me to lose my place (see pic). Other than that, it was a good value.

These two Magnifying Enhancing bars are a must have for reading. I use mines to read the bible because the words are so small. Keep in mind the above bible is a large print and I use the highlighted magnifying bar of which is my favorite. The quality is sturdy and easy to use. The only issue is that the smaller magnifying bar has a clip on the wrong side and you must be careful when clipping to sensitive pages such as the ones on the bible or other book that will tear them accidentally. I recommend these two items.

Works perfectly to help me read from my fave bread making book. The yellow marker bar aligns with the text I want to read. The smaller magnifier I carry in my purse for reading menus or food labels
