Excellent Replacement Batteries – Great Value!
The VINIDA 2-Pack 4.8Ah DC9096 Battery Replacement for Dewalt 18V is outstanding! They work perfectly, have great capacity, and are long-lasting. The quality is excellent, and at this price, they’re unbeatable. My old Dewalt tools love these batteries—they’ve brought them back to life! Highly recommend these to anyone needing reliable replacements without breaking the bank.

Good Value
As this product will never beat the OEM, based on the price point it is a good value. I have not had it that long so as to longevity I have no answer. Battery life is not as good as OEM, however it got the job done! I am not a tradesman & only use the saw/drill occasionally...so my opinion is that of Joe homeowner.

You won’t be satisfied with these
Batteries showed that they had taken a full charge initially. Upon first use, my drill didn’t seem to have the torque when I put the drill bit in. I actually stopped the drill with my hand. I drilled seven 1/4” holes and put the battery on my dewalt charger. My charger gave me a “Problem Powerline” error message. I put the other unused and charged battery in my charger, same message. I read through the reviews and saw where another customer had the same issue. He ran his batteries on his drill for 30 seconds and then they charged without error. I tried running my drill on both batteries for 30 about seconds each and they did in fact take what my charger indicated to be a full charge without the error message. Trying both of these batteries in my drill I can stop it with my hand with full charge. I tried my one remaining Dewalt 18v XRP that is 10 years old and i can not stop my drill with my hand. These are definitely inferior and are not dependable. If you are determined to use these batteries, buy lots of them. If you want to continue using your Dewalt tools, bite the bullet and buy Dewalt batteries.

Follow-up Review
I recently posted a review that said these batteries would not work with my DW9116 charger. I found that after putting one in my drill and running it for about 30-seconds, then inserting it FIRMLY in the charger, it began to charge. I tried the second battery in the charger without putting it in the drill and the charger did nothing. I then put that battery in the drill, ran it for about 30-seconds and inserted it FIRMLY in the charger and presto - it started charging - and has now given me the steady red light fully charged indication. I'm a little bewildered, but happy the batteries are now working properly. Warning - The fit is very tight in the charger.

Battery compatibility fit with charger used on like type batterys.
Although the new batteries look very identical to my older batteries, they won't easily fit into the charger without applying minor force. At that point they will charge but require a prying tool (flat blade screwdriver) to lift them out of the socket they fit into. Seems the design tip or the metal charging tips are a different size than the 6 other batteries I have used this charger on successfully and are some of the same models as the new ones I just received.

works as required
I like the price of this replacement battery DeWalt is just TOO expensive. Was concerned about recharging, not tool performance. As I understand it, Li Ion batteries are voltage regulated in the recharger while NiMH batteries are amperage regulated. Possibility for a runaway if the battery keeps asking for more power than needed/safe. SO FAR, no problems, but, I watch the thing pretty closely and don't charge in the house. Too new for me to comment on longevity, but expect good things.

Great product
The day they arrived we charged them, and it has been a week or so, and it is still fully charged and ready to do it's job when needed! Best quality for the money and best product for my projects.
