Perfect fit
It’s nice to not have to keep a stick in the trunk anymore, or worry about that heavy Camaro trunk falling on you. These work perfectly and we’re easy to install.

Although I returned it because it was determined not to be my problem, the product looked well designed and packaged.

Worth every penny
As well all know these window shocks go bad over the years and won't holt up your hatch anymore. Especially on my 97 Z-28 the hatch was really heavy.after I installed one it actually held the hatch up by itself,I was really surprised due to the weight it was supporting after I had the second installed It was better than new. I had to use a little muscle to shut the hatch. Worth every penny and super easy to install.

2002 z28 camaro ls1. Good fit, easy install.
So far so good fit right up to my 2002 z28 ls1. Watched a few YouTube videos, supported the rear hatch with a broom handle, just remember one at a time, just in case. I’ve had mine on for a few weeks not quiet a month but their solid. So far will update when they become not as stiff/supportive

Working So Far
Needed to rotate the ring ends of each strut 90 degrees so they would line up with the shoulder bolts used on those ends. However, the only way to do that without excessive force was to unscrew the ring end approximately 270 degrees, making the units about 3/32" longer. However, this seemed to work anyway. I can't make any comments on the longevity of the struts, as these were installed on a project car that still needs to be in the shop for a couple more months. But right now, they work well.

Perfect replacement!
Now my hatch lifts without even having to touch it! Before the damn hatch was extremely heavy and I couldn’t even use any of my trunk space. Great product!
