WEN 5932SPC Replacement Spindle Sanding Sleeves, Assorted Sandpaper Grits, 12 Pack

Bought this instead of a bench top spindle sander (much cheaper) to see how they worked, never used one before. I am a diy woodworker, and this works well for my needs. Very light, easy to mount on my work table. Made a round table top for it (can find videos on YouTube) and was easy to mount it with exiting screws. I have used it several times, and so far, very happy with it. I would recommend it if you don’t want to spend several hundred dollars for a bench top version. Do suggest to buy some additional sanding spindles, comes with only 80 grit, one for each size spindle. Can buy replacements on Amazon (just make sure they are the right size for this sander).

Great valve and gets the job done. The sanding cones are cheap and explode easily. Best order 3M or a higher quality of abrasive

Much more solid and sturdier than I expected for this price. I also purchased a 12 piece sanding tube selection at a discount when I purchased the tool. I already have a large belt grinder so needed a compact option. I will use the sander quite a bit to clean up the many little projects I work on in my shop. It's no bigger than drill gun and is super portable. The included table/bench mounting clamps fix this thing very firmly. This is a great and very useful tool for small change. At its lowest speed level, it's plenty fast to remove stock and is pretty quiet. It does get loud at its fastest setting. A++++ tool.

This product is awesome and much cheaper than table top models. I was looking for something to sand guitar necks and it needed to be small enough to fit on a small work bench. It has four different drum diameters and has variable speeds to handle delicate jobs. I highly recommend it.

Works well. Just had to buy some more grit size to get different grits.

This sander is a fraction of the price of a typical bench top sander, but it works in a similar manner. I'm taking off one star for the horrible instruction manual and the fact that you absolutely need the "Replacement Spindle Sanding Sleeves" (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VFXG1GQ).

The speed is good, the vacuum is ok.The issue is a little bit of pressure and the cylinder stops spinning. Totally defeats the purpose of the machine.Not a good. buy. I missed the return date, glat it wasn't overly expensive.

I needed to carve out a base for a floating urn and didn't want to use a Dremel. I already have a bench belt sander but could not get the precision I wanted. This worked beyond all expectations. I thought I might just be wasting my money by not buying the bigger tool. But this attaches to you table upside down and works much like a bench unit.Maybe in the future, I will legitimately have a need for the bench sander but I bet I will still be pulling this one out more often.

This is a quality product and I'm very satisfied with how long they last. (I will note that I clean them with a crepe block after each use - and sometimes during - which certainly contributes to their longevity).
