Well made.
I ordered the Imperial IMP16S Stockman 5.9in Stainless Steel Traditional Folding Knife with 2.5in Clip Point, Sheepsfoot and Spey Blade and POM Handle. Excuse the pun, but it looks sharp! I like this knife very much so far. It is sharp, fits well in my hand, and feels like it is of very good quality. It is easy to control. It cuts very well in the materials I have used it on. The blades are snug but not crazy hard to open. They lock open well. I carry this knife nearly all day. It is a good pocket knife, and I found it to be a very good price. I highly recommend this knife. The company shipped it out, it actually came a couple of days early.

A classic!
I am in love with this knife, and would give it fifteen stars if it were possible. It is a perfect blend of beauty, function, quality and value. Plus, man has been using edged tools since the time he made friends with the dog, so nobody should be without one, however slight, in his pocket. Drawbacks? Only two that I can see - first... wait! According to the Amazon description it IS stainless steel! Funny, it's not marked on the box or the blades anywhere. OK, I'll take their word on that, so it's down to just one: the short blade on the same end as the main blade is impossible for me to open, unless I open the main blade first. I can't get this blade started without gripping it between my thumb and my index finger as well as using my thumbnail: the nail by itself just buckles. The problem with the work-around is that it would be VERY easy for one's fingers to stay with the small blade as it snaps past top-dead-center - and right into the edge of the open main blade. You had better be paying close attention before attempting to open this blade! So, is the knife perfect, or not? We'll just pretend this extra blade isn't there - two blades suffice. Otherwise, the knife is just about as perfect in design and construction as it's possible for a tool to be, and for all of seven bucks and change. P.S. I ordered the knife only a few weeks before I wrote this, and I see that "seven bucks and change" has become "eight bucks and change"! Amazon is the only retailer I know where prices seem to move like the stock market - in response to transient fluctuations in supply and demand, rather than occasionally being adjusted by management fiat. P.P.S. I discovered the secret to opening the stiff blade - playing with the knife while thinking of something else! I suddenly found that I HAD opened the blade by itself. Luckily, muscle memory remained long enough to recover the secret - pushing into the blade at the same time as pushing up for some reason stops my thumbnail from buckling, and it's possible to open the blade with nail alone, as God intended. As a material object, this knife is perfect.

Great knife for the money!
For the price.. This knife kicks ass!... Great for lite jobs... opening boxes... cutting cordage.. Trimming burrs off plastic items, etc... I don't get how other people say they struggle to open this knife.. I find it quite simple..... Beautiful knife... perfect size to carry in your pocket without feeling super bulky.. Now the only downside.. It didn't come out of the box super sharp and all I had to do was make a few passes on my sharpening stone to make it a work sharp edge... No , It's not a Case... But ,I'm more than happy with it.. Has a nice smart , classic look that I really like... This will be a great addition to my EDC bag! Well done!!

Nice tool
I've only had this a few days, however, it is already a great tool! It came to me sharp and ready to work. I've used it for light tasks, daily since receiving it and it gets the job done.

Decent knife!
For the current price of $9, this knife is great! Is it of the same quality as a Case knife? No, definitely not. My Case stockmans cost $40 and up and were made in the U.S. This Imperial stockman was made in China, and yes, some corners were cut to keep the price down. I have no idea what the steel is, but it is a stainless steel that is easy to sharpen. However, it dulls fairly quickly, but hey, a couple of quick swipes on a stone, and you’re back in business. It is not a pain-in-the-butt to sharpen high end steel. I actually prefer lower end steels for this reason. I confess that I bought this knife on Amazon twice because I lost the first one back in January. I missed the knife, so I ordered another. Just tonight I found the first one in the bowels of my couch. So now I have two. They are the same knife, but my first one operates just a tiny bit better. The blades open and close just a bit easier. Regarding the blades, I will say that the spey and sheepsfoot blades are cut rather thinly compared to other stockmans I have. This will make them great slicers, but they might be more susceptible to breakage or damage due to how thin they are. The main clip blade is of adequate thickness. This knife is ideal for light to medium duty applications. I wouldn’t push those thin blades too hard or pry with them at all. Even so, I view this knife as a high value knife. You get a lot for $9! If you’re only carrying one knife, this one, it’s a good do-everything size. Not too big or too small. Great for those who are budget-conscious, too. Might be a good knife to give to a young boy who will probably destroy it or lose it. I own a lot of pocket knives. It’s sort of a hobby for me. Inexpensive knives like this definitely have their place in my rotation of knives. I often take this knife to work. This knife is not the image of perfection, but there are far worse knives out there. This knife is okay in my book. Oh, one more thing. When I received both of these Imperial stockmans, they were decently sharp and could cut paper. They were quite usable right out of the box. I can’t say that about some of my higher end knives!

Resultona.
