Don't over-tighten the bell
The first one we got had a faulty front tire that wouldn't stay on the rim when inflated. But we returned it and got the same style/model again and have had no problems with that one other than a relatively minor issue with the bell. Be careful with the bell because it's easy to over-tighten it to the point it will no longer ring, but if you don't tighten it enough it will not grip the handlebar and will slip/rotate around the handlebar making it hard to reach it and ring it. I call it a minor issue because it *seems* that there should be an easy fix. So far I've tried double-sided tape around the handlebar before fastening the bell, and that didn't work very well, but I'm thinking that a strip of grippy rubber may do it--I just haven't found the right grippy rubber yet. The overall look of the tricycle can't be beat. Looks both classic and classy. Quality seems fairly good. The tire issue seems to have been an isolated defect.

Great product
No missing parts or pieces, very easy to assemble and I’m terrible at asssembling thins, the quality is great, the tire traction is great, the bell is very loud so beware, and this bike is great for 2-3 year olds.

Quality item
Our family has had a very heavy duty Trek tricycle that lasted us through 3 of our 4 children. Unfortunately the wheels were plastic and eventually fell apart and we had to throw away the Tricycle. Therefore we have been looking for a good replacement for a few months now. The Schwinn tricycle seemed like a good option based on the specs that we were able to see on Amazon, however the negative reviews gave us pause and therefore we never went through (multiple times) with making the purchase. Finally because we were unable to find anything else comparable to what we had we pulled the trigger and purchased the Schwinn tricycle. I am so glad we did and should have the 1st time I went to purchase it. The bike is definitely heavy duty metal- that of what you would expect in a bike. So no, this bike is not super light but is also good because your children cannot easily tip it over and it will stand up to the beating many of these Tricycles will get while being used by young children. The wheels are rubber and are inflated with a standard bike pump and replaced like a normal bike tire with a tube which is definitely a plus in this bike which you don't always see another Tri cycles. The seat is extremely adjustable so my 16 Month old son and four-year-old daughter can both ride it with ease. In addition to being a quality and well constructed item it is also a very attractive looking bike and true to picture. the bell and streamers arecand added bonus and fun for the kids. If any of you are hesitant based on other reviews you have read I would disregard. Coming from a mom of 4 who has gone through for fair share of bikes and riding equipment this is definitely a quality product and I would not hesitate to buy it again. Personally, I would rather buy something of quality that I can had for years to com versus something super cheap that's going to just fall apart and end up in the trash in the next year like many of children's toys. I also felt the price was extremely fair for what we got.

Best Tricycle I've Ever Seen
Santa brought this for my Son on Christmas of 2009 (it is 16 months old, as of this writing). I've got to say, I'm extremely impressed with what Santa's elves have done here. This is, easily, the highest-quality, most well-made tricycle I have ever seen. Indeed, before seeing this with my own two eyes, I didn't know such a well-made tricycle even existed! Everything about this tricycle oozes quality and, a year and a half later, it is still going strong. To begin, the design of the trike is great. The smooth curves and retro styling make this really eye-catching. The paint, chrome, and trim are beautiful. The wooden, chrome-trimmed deck in back is a great touch which my son uses frequently to tote around toys, etc. The thick, fully-treaded, pneumatic tires are great and, after a year and a half of use, have not cracked or deflated in the slightest. Even the quality of the well-secured, fabric handlebar tassels is impressive. The inclusion of a steel handlebar bell is yet another nice touch. The low center of gravity makes this a supremely safe vehicle. Not only does it look cool, but I can't imagine this thing tipping over. As a matter of principal I still insist that my son wears a helmet, but that has more to do with me teaching him good safety habits than anything else because I doubt the helmet will ever have a chance to do its job. It's as if a steel-framed bicycle cross-bred with one of the "Big Wheels" we adults all loved as children. Please be aware that this tricycle is big and the reach from the seat to the pedals is far, even when the seat is adjusted to be as close to the pedals as possible. I'd say most kids can start using it around 2 1/2 years (sorry that's a little vague, but I'm not sure how to properly measure the seat/pedal distance and equate that to a precise height). The flip side of this is that it will last a long time (with regard to supporting your child's growth). When Santa brought this for my 22-month old, he could barely reach the pedals and he's always been quite tall for his age. For us, it was no problem though; he just scooted around on it until he could reach the pedals, which was easy given to the low profile. As far as I'm concerned, if you're in the market for a tricycle and your child is big enough to reach the pedals, there is simply nothing else worth considering. If your child is not quite big enough, but will be soon, I'd recommend you at least consider waiting so that you can purchase this tricycle rather than any other. Zero complaints.

Very durable and easy to put together
The quality of the bike is fantastic. I had to purchase this twice because of some imperfections on the fender. Amazon always works it out. They are fantastic. My grandson loves us.

great product with a small tweak
A lot of people have commented that the handle bars on this trike slip while riding, this is absolutely a problem i had, but if you remove the handle bars and glue a 1/2" copper pipe coupler inside the handle bar tube where the band clamp sits, you can tighten the clamp without deforming the inner tube and the bar wont slip or spin anymore no matter how hard you ride. Would be great if they just did something similar from the factory, but its a 50 cent fix.

Lovely bike, great with the low center of gravity, very stable. A bit daunting for my daughter in the beginning compared to the baby-tricycle she used to ride. This is definitely a bike to transition from toddler to big kid!

Los materiales son bastante buenos, el asiento se puede ajustar dependiendo de la edad del niñ@, es algo pesado para los niños al principio pero se acostumbran, no es muy complicado de armar.
