Great Product Two Years Later
I have used two of these lens hoods, one for a 15-45mm kit lens, and one for a 55-200mm lens. After two years of regular use, both hoods and both caps still work great. The lens caps are tethered which is an essential feature for photographing sports or nature. I highly recommend this product.

55 mm, it fits and works well for Lumix DC FZ80
Every hood I looked at so far has negative reviews about showing up in pictures at lens widest angle. Picking one between $27 and $10 made no difference so I opted for this one. It fits well, it works well, rubber hood can show full circle in picture at wide angle and fully extended. Both hoods have clean threads that engage smoothly and don't bind. Tulip hood does not show in picture at widest angle and long "leafs" oriented vertically. Both hoods were mounted over UV filter which extended their position by about 1/8". Rubber hood assumed each of the 3 positions fairly consistently and I have no issues with that. For reversing tulip hood, it's easily done with lens extended, hold the lens and pull the hood off, reverse and push it on. If you don't hold lens and push on hood, it overrides internal mechanism and lens retracts, probably not a good idea to do that. There are 4 spring loaded bearing balls that snap into groove on mounting ring, they require firm push and pull to reverse position so holding extended lens body while mounting hood is best way to do it. UPDATE: I noticed that after few repeated removals and mounts of the flower hood, ring shows rub marks where spring loaded bearing balls engage groove. Springs behind bearing balls are too strong and don't need to be, this is causing balls to abuse aluminum ring edge as hood is forced over it. Hood will still work but cosmetics of mounting ring will get worse over time with each mount of hood.

Blocks the Sun’s Glare
Everything in the Hood set fits my Canon lenses perfectly! Use the hoods to block glare from the sun. I no longer need to hold one hand above the lens and try to keep the camera steady when taking pictures on a sunny day. The quality of my photos is better, the different hoods are easy to use, and the lens cap fits perfectly. One of the best buys I’ve made!

Great product and great company. A lens hood kit worth buying.
I purchased the 55mm and 58mm lens hoods and I am really impressed with these kits. They appear to be well constructed and are easy to use. A feature that I find really beneficial, is the ability to change the tulip lens hoods from front facing (taking pictures) to rear facing (storage) without having to unscrew the mounting ring. The hood is constructed so that it snaps on and off the mounting ring. When mounted, it is on securely, but switching is very easy. This is helpful in reducing the chances of cross threading by having to unscrew the hood each time you want to switch functions. I also like the fact that the hoods can be used with the provided lens cap. The lens hood kits are a real value when it comes to the quality and cost. I am glad that I purchased them. The 58mm collapsible hood that I received did not have the proper threading to mount it to the lens. When I contacted Veatree, they were quick to respond. They stand behind their product and are replacing the defective part. I was quite impressed with the customer service that they provided and I would be happy to buy from them again.

Full extension-falls into camera shot
The design is there. I like that you can collapse and expand based on your needs. It goes on easy enough. My only problem is that when you have it fully extended- it gets very flimsy and can droop into the shot so you have to try and prop it up with your hand to keep it out of the way.

Sturdy and Great Value
I lost the lens cap and hood for my Fujifilm X-T1 mirrorless camera during a hike, so I decided to buy this set mainly to replace the cap; I thought that the little string would be a good addition, considering my original cap simply fell off of the lens. When I unboxed the set and stuck the lens cap on my camera, I was surprised by how sturdy it was. While it was easy to take off, the cap stayed solidly stuck to my lens — I was not even sure that I would need the string (that being said, I still attached it just in case). It is easy to remove if I ever decide it is a nuisance. I really only use my lens hood to keep rain off of my lens, so the "tulip flower" lens hood is just a bit too short for my purposes. The JJC lens hood is the perfect one, in my opinion — except that it does not sit securely on the lens. In contrast, both lens hoods in this set are sturdy and I trust them much more than the JJC. Considering most individual lens caps on Amazon cost at least $8.00, you might as well grab this whole set for only a few extra dollars.
