We all know nonstick coatings are bad for us but I couldn’t bear to spend the money on a stainless basket until the nonstick coating started coming off the basket that comes with the instant pot duo.This is a fantastic air fryer basket that doesn’t rust and it makes a fantastic oil fryer basket. I don’t deep fry a lot of foods but, I do shallow fry a lot of food (like plantains) that could be deep-fried a lot easier with these baskets. I place the foods in the basket put the whole basket in the oil. the handles on the baskets do not get hot so you can lift the entire basket and contents out of the oil and let them drain while filling the second basket and placing that in the deep fry oil.I will say that it’s difficult to clean because, well, it is mesh. I soak it in soapy water and then scrub it with a scrubbing brush before tossing in the dishwasher.

As an IP newbie, it was suggested that I only use IP official accessories so I wouldn't void the warranty on my new pot. I was eager to get this 2piece steamer basket because I love a good crab and shrimp boil. The set itself is amazing and nestles perfectly into my 6qt IP. Cleanup is simple if you remember to have a sinkful of HOT soapy water on standby for a quick soak. I recommend not putting this into the dishwasher.That being said, my unit was an obvious return! I opened the outer packaging and saw the IP branded box inside with the little taped seal across the opening. However, the seal was refastened onto the box and folded half onto itself. I hoped for a moment that maybe mine was a QC check and dismissed it. Sadly, there was no QC note inside. What I did find was fuzz and two blonde hairs in the small basket along with a thumbprint on the rim; all visible through the plastic bag. Being that I live in podunk nowhere, I decided against the 40 minute drive to a Kohls or UPS for a return and to give it a good antibacterial wash and it's as good as new. Seriously though, if Amazon continues to sell repackaged items, they should indicate the item was a RETURN!!! Nothing in the description said it was "renewed" or a product return. If it happens again without notice, I'll have to reconsider keeping my membership.

I use these to hold produce (squash, potatoes, carrots, etc.) during food prep. They are the perfect size and are a quality product.

When I ordered our Instant Pot, I decided to add these steamer baskets. A wise choice that does a great job of working with the Instant Pot to pressure steam vegetables; they come out full flavored and delicious. While we bought the two-basket set, one would probably have been enough. The baskets are well made and will be a durable addition to your kitchen battery.

These are good and useful with the Instant Pot, as well as regular pots and pans. The build quality is OK, but OXO comes to mind as a brand that would be considered higher quality. The fact that they fit the Instant Pot makes them extra useful.

I haven’t used this product yet but it does look like it’s made well. I like that it can be used as a strainer and a steamer basket.

I know it's advertised as a streamer but we have the instant pot + air fryer combo and wanted to get a replacement for the non-stick basket they have. I found this and thought to try it as an air fryer basket instead. I was afraid it would not be usable at high temps but it's doing pretty well! The size is perfect for our 6-qt IP and it's a lot more washable than the original basket. I've yet to use the two baskets together but I'm excited for the ability to stack them and air fry more stuff at once. Great purchase!

Well constructed. Like that you get a small and large basket. Fits Insta Pot 6 quart perfectly. Love using them to steam vegetables.
