Most people just wax and plexi-scrape their snowboard or skis and are done with it. To get the best glide out of your stick, you need to remove as much wax as possible from the surface of your base. Roto-brushing really goes that extra step beyond hand brushing to get as much wax off your base as possible. This kit is easy to use and works as expected. You can nylon or horsehair brush at normal drill speeds, but the brass brush should not exceed around 800rpm to avoid damaging the ski/snowboard base.

I didn’t have a lot of luck with the cork, a flat hand cork still works better, could be my lack of experience though. Brushes are great for sure, waxing is quicker and better with this and an m12 drill

I've never used brand rotobrushes so I have no comparison basis, but these definitely do the job.It took me a couple of pairs of ski, but now I have a good routine and I can change the rotobrushes with two flicks of the wrist.

Just used it on 3 pairs of skis that I had hand scraped and brushed off summer wax. I used the brushing and buffing attachments. The brush removed a considerable amount of residual wax and the yellow attachment buffed the remainder into the base so that the stone grind structure was exposed. Huge improvement over doing it by hand. Also much faster.

It saves the most time consuming time of ski tuning by doing a couple of quick passes with the brushes. I always coveted my friend's Swix RotoBrush when I tuned my skis over at his house, but couldn't bring myself to spend the $200+ those cost. This one has 3 brushes included for about half the price and works 90% as well. I do think the swix version threw the wax off better, these bristles are probably a little shorter or something. This one takes an extra pass or two but it beats the heck out of hand brushing. I'll wax my skis more now that I don't have to take the extra time brushing.

Well made and good value for the price. I bought it in the off season and will be wrking on several pairs of skis later this summer, so it made sense. The only suggestion I would have is to include a set of instructions to figure out brush direction and best technique.

Llevaba tiempo queriendo comprar este tipo de cepillos para encerar mis esquis,tanto de fondo como de travesia,el sistema es genial ,un taladro con velocidad regulable y el cepillado se hace en un visto y no visto,se tarda la mitad que con los de mano y es mas uniforme el cepillado,esta version no tiene el cepillo de cobre que tiene la de 128 euros pero la diferencia era tan grande que prefiero seguir limpiando la base con el que tengo de mano toko,en su lugar tiene el de corcho para acabados muy finos,los otros dos de nylon son iguales y el mango el mismo asi que la decision fue facil,si mas tarde veo uno de cobre bien de precio lo comprare,se adaptan los swix o toko,pero siempre de 100mm de largo,el maneral tiene un giro perfecto,lleva rodamientos y no le veo tanta diferencia con un toko o swix que valen una pasta

They are in goood quality and do a great job, except the Nylon one is little bit tie to put on and take off from the handle rod.
