My whole family loves it too and if I could afford to buy one every other month, I would. The taste and quality of this product is always consistent, delicious and so tender to eat. The fat to meat balance is sublime. I received this one just a day before Thanksgiving and it’ll be a memory after tomorrow! We serve a number of antipasto trays and this salami is always the star. Will be back for another one for Christmas or New Year’s when it’s the season for family sharing. Love, love this chub. Great size and reasonably priced considering this is special and celebratory feasting in my house! Oh by the way, they make great late night sandwiches too! Review: Best salami ever! - Hard to find in stores so it's cheaper to mail order than making a trip to San Francisco. It's my absolute favorite salami!

The Best US Salami! YUM!
I just bought a wonderful Molinari & Sons San Francisco Italian Dry Salami 3lb Stick Molded Paper Wrapped. When I lived in So Cal as a kid, my Grandma used to bring us Salami from Molinari's whenever she would come visit us. It was a family ritual to pick Grandma up at the San Diego Train Station and then we would all go home to feast on Salami, green pepperoncini, Onion Focaccia Bread, and Fresh Soft and Creamy Sonoma Jack Cheese. Now in my early 60's I go to thinking if Molinari's was still around, maybe they were selling Salami on amazon. Sure enough their Salami is right here, although sold by Taylor's Market. I got greedy and bought a huge 3 lb. stick, all for my self. It just arrived, very well packaged, fresh and just as wonderful as I had remembered! And, it shipped quite fast too! I enjoyed far too much of it this afternoon, with green pepperoncini, some focaccia bread and some Munster cheese as I can not find any soft Jack cheese in my locations. It was a wonderful feast and now I have a whole lot of Salami left over. I wonder... How well does salami freeze? Anyway, I highly recommend this Molinari Salami, and I recommend Taylor's Market as the seller too! Molinari Salami is STILL the BEST Salami in the USA. YUM!

5-star product, 2-star fulfillment
This is an outstanding product and I highly recommend it -- as long as you can obtain it from a different supplier. For unknown reasons, the supplier shipped the salami on a Thursday using USPS Priority Mail. Using Priority Mail was great, but shipping on a Thursday guaranteed that the salami would sit in a warehouse over the weekend and be delivered the following Monday. In addition, it was packed with only one small ice pack -- a five-inch-square pack trying to keep an 18+-inch chub of salami cool, in a non-insulated box! The fulfillment company does not seem to know how to ship perishable items. Thankfully the weather was cold, so I figured it was worth doing a sight/smell test. After peeling the wrap and cutting into the chub, it was pretty apparent that everything was fine, so I hand-sliced a piece and did a taste test. WOW. Great, intense flavor without excessive salt. A little while later I sliced several more pieces and made a sub with it, some provolone, some arugula, drizzled with homemade dressing, on a sourdough roll. Absolute heaven! If you're thinking about ordering this, it would be worth either paying for overnight delivery, or perhaps ordering directly from Molinari and Sons. I thought about making the rating three stars, but the salami was so good I rounded up instead of down...

Yet Another Dellcious San Francisco Style Salami.
These very large sized Molinari San Francisco salamiis are yet another fine example of the unique Salamis producedin SF. As a result of the unique weather conditions in San Francisco - pleasant days, cool, foggy nights, rain infrequently and only at certain times of year, these sausages have a unique flavor and gusto that is unobtainable nowhere else in the World. The climate of SF is the only which produces the correct mold which ages and flavors all real San Francisco salamis. These salamis have a rich, yet refined, smooth and yet hearty taste pa Obama. The blend of meat and fat is absolutely the perfect one to produce a meaty, yet tender salami. I recommend these with crackers, on a piece of bread or baguette, topped with a Good Jack or Mozarella cheese, then a few thing slivers of salami. Toast these in you toaster oven, you will not be disappointed. These salamis are not cheap, but one eats thinly slivered slices, the flavor is that intense. I recommend them heartily, both as an excellent base for tasty bits served while entertaining, or as a part of a hearty and filling sandwich......or just eaten as you sit and chat, read a book, warp tech TV, and slice off little bits with a paring knife. This is a lovely salami, one of the best of San Francisco's many varied and luscious offerings. Try some, you will almost certainly not be disappointed

Amazing flavor and texture.
The flavor is amazing. It’s just so hard to find a full log this size anymore. Definitely worth the 7 day wait.
