Big Fudge Comics Sleeves and Boards

These bags and boards are exactly what I needed for protecting my comic collection. The plastic is crystal clear and sturdy, and the boards feel thick and durable. I really like that they’re acid-free and archival quality—it gives me peace of mind knowing my comics are safe long term. I love using this brand. The plastic for the bags is a tad thicker than a lot of the other plastic bags I’ve come across. It’s really sturdy and offers a lot more protection.

I love these protective sleeves! The comics fit right in there, but be careful, of course. The plastic is very clear and transparent. They don't weigh much and can fit two comics.

I like these bags. They are thicker than others I have used. I like how the top corners of the bags are tapered. This eliminates when they're in boxes and often the edges get folded up between comics when they are lifted and dropped back into a collection. The boards however feel thinner than what I am used to. They work fine but I prefer thicker. Overall good value in this bag and board set.

Writing this a long-time collector who frequently likes to rebag his comics. I'll start by saying I purchased 100 ct of the bags and boards on a prime day sale for $25. I think that's a reasonable price for these. But normal asking price is $32 for the combo pack and despite everyone saying that this costs less than other bags and boards, I would disagree. If you shop around, you can easily find other companies selling 100 bags and boards for less. I'm also struggling with the fact that I can't seem to purchase just the bags which is odd. I tend to reuse backboards but bags I swap out frequently and it seems like buying bags alone is not an option right now. Also want to mention that a 50-count bag and board combo is only 1 dollar less than a 100-count which makes no sense. All in all, the company needs to do a better job with the pricing. THAT BEING SAID...I do love the bags which is why I still give it 5 stars. At first, I didn't know if I liked them as they are totally different from what I'm used to. They're thicker and a bit wider than typical current/modern bags it seems. But after bagging a few comics I felt like these are nice because I may never need to replace them. Most bags get all wrinkly over time but I don't see that happening with these. The boards I felt were just okay. They feel thinner and flimsier ironically than other boards I've purchased. All in all, these are my current favorite bags. I just wish I could buy them on their own (without the boards) and hoping the pricing gets straightened out on Amazon.

Zero stars. Two shipments of bags that are cut too small for comics. They are also very thin and cheap compared to what they used to be.
