Pri Elite Syn Sh Round Size 4

My art class teacher brought one of these to our class, and was raving about it. She gives us a demonstration using it. We were so impressed that quite a few of us (me included), immediately ordered one. Mine arrived from Spain and was slightly delayed by customs (no idea why), but was worth the wait. Has a great point but can also broaden out for thicker strokes. Very pleased with it.

Wow. I am 72 and have done a lot of watercolour painting throughout my life. Some time ago I decided I wouldn't use animal hair brushes for animal welfare reasons, in spite of the fact that most teachers I came across were recommending Sable brushes. A teacher I like just recommended this and it is AMAZING. The point is superb, the holding of a reservoir of paint also superb, handling all I could want. I know this will improve my paintings.

Saw these recommended. I do have some Neptunes, but saw that these are even better. I am very happy so far. I am able to use it to paint thick and thin, so great control! Will be getting more of these.

Gosh...this is the most beautiful paint brush I have ever used. It can be used from painting (drawing!!!) the finest lines to a 2cm wide ones. It holds water and paint amazingly. It's light and not too big. Just love it:)

The brush is not the one shown in the picture; it is NOT a round size 12 brush but a 3/4inch flat brush (see my picture). The written description is correct. This is a good quality watercolour brush and I am happy to have it but the picture is very misleading.

The packing was disappointing It looked used without the plastic cap Had to fix the bristles using hot water.. Princeton as always, does what it says, the brush is good!

I really like this brush for wetting watercolor paper for wet-on-wet techniques - especially for re-wetting areas already painted when you need to dampen the surface without disturbing the paint underneath for another glaze. It holds a good amount of water and the soft bristles evenly distribute it across the area.

When I first read the description of this brush and it said "Long" I dismissed it because I thought that meant it was a long-handled brush (and I prefer shorter handles). But when I read more carefully I found out that "Long" referred to the head of the brush, and more specifically to the tip. This brush is a size 12 so it holds a lot of paint and can paint broad strokes but with the longer tip it is capable of doing detail work and painting fine lines, almost as fine as a rigger brush (see photo).
