4 Set Silicone Conductive Rubber Pad Keypads for Sony PlayStation 4 PS4 Controller for Dualshock 4 Buttons Repair Replacement Part

It's been about a month winced I replaced a ps4 dual shock 4 cuh -zct2u controller pads with these... it took me about 15 mins, I was in no hurry.. let me tell you it's well worth the purchase.. the controller works and feels like new now.

Made the controller work like new again. Had one button sticking for over a year. I felt it was better to repair vs buying new.

Only reason I didn't give these 5 starts was that they were not a direct fit 4 my PS4 controller. I am not sure if it was a series issue, honestly, haven't taken the time to find out. It was for the trigger buttons. I had to snip of a small tab that was sticking out on each side. After that, no issues. So in my mind, it was well worth the purchase price. A 2 year old controller brought back to like new condition. I will come back and update this review if I have any issues, not sure how long they will last. My son using this controller about 4 hours a day on average, so it will be a good test.

Originally bought this to put in my ZCT2U controller but learned from the description it supposedly doesn’t work in it. I then tried it in my ZCT1U controller that I bought separately from my PS4 and it felt off. Finally tried it in my other original ZCT1U that came with my PS4 and at first it didn’t seem all that great either. I tried putting a tiny piece of rubber under the dpad to give it some more space and make it more fluid but it did the opposite. Once I removed that rubber the dpad now seems to work perfectly and feels a lot better and less stiff than originally some how. For $6 it’s a good deal. I’m speaking solely about the Dpad as that’s what I purchased it for.

Cost of a controller? 60 dollars. Cost to fix the one I have? 10 dollars. Easy choice.The issue I was having was that my dpad wasn't always registering when i pushed Right, causing me to have to push harder to have it register the command. After temporarily fixing it with a PS3 rubber piece, I eventually started having the same issue because the PS3 part was ill-suited to be a permanent replacement. The rubber pieces in the PS3 controller are just a little larger than PS4.These face button replacements are the perfect size, and so far so good. If I need to replace it again, I have 3 more! But here's hoping this one lasts at least a little while.Some other reviews mentioned the trigger pads were too big, I didn't replace those so no comment there. The face button pads are perfect though!

If the trigger button pads need replaced due to being completely broken, these are a moderate improvement. The hard center piece is either not thick enough or has too much play and doesn't fully depress the button.In racing games, this reduces max speed and in shooters, it delays trigger response. As I haven't found a Superior replacement, I used a dab of hot glue to increase sensitivity.

Completely useless trash! Installed the trigger pads and they get stuck! Not even close to the original design. Waste of money and more importantly my time!
