This chair was so great and comfy that my mom tried to steal it. It arrived during the time she was up visiting. She kept asking when I was going to put it together because it sat in the box in the dining room for 2 days. I was looking forward to putting it together, but on the other hand I really wasn't ready to give up my old chair. Yeah I know, the poor thing was falling apart and I had to cover it in blankets and pillows to make it somewhat comfortable to bear sitting on and besides I had it for 10 long years and it was always there waiting for me when I needed the computer to order something off Amazon. After finally tearing open the box to put it together, my mom giggled a bit to herself thinking it was going to take me hours to put it all together, but to her surprise, it was very simple to snap together, especially since the tool needed to put it together was included in the box, imagine that! Then it was my turn to giggle as I sat in it and rolled across the dining room after only 5 minutes of piecing it together. But then my giggle ceased as I rolled over the dog's foot and I flipped over backwards in the chair. Mom laughed, of course, as if it was the funniest thing she ever saw, but it really wasn't all that funny. Even tho my back hurt I was afraid I already broke my brand new chair, but luckily this durable piece of artwork was scratch free of my clumbsyness, or perhaps it was my expertise of putting it together flawlessly, I guess we'll never know. Mom pretty much used the chair the whole time she was here, so I ordered her one as well. She saw how easily I put it together and figured she could do the same on her own. She called me after she got hers and all put together and thanked me for getting her one. She loves hers as well and said it's much better on her back than the one she had, especially since it has an easily reachable handle to raise and lower it to her desired height. I'm still getting used to the wheels being so slick on mine. My old chair's wheels were so stubborn, they'd tear up carpet before those things would roll so I've already fallen 4 or 5 times trying to sit down cause the chair rolls out from under me before I sit down. Anyways, it's an awesome chair, just saying!!! As for my old chair, it's in the garage if anyone wants it.

Got this as a desk chair for my teenage daughter who put it together. Her only complaint after she assembled it was that the chair generated a lot of static electricity while sitting in it. After a day she told me she had figured out why it didn't move correctly, one of the caster wheels plastic housing was split.I'd rather not return the whole thing, we just need a working caster wheel. Wish me luck as I try to just get just the wheel part replaced.Update: Flash furniture responded on the first try within 24 hours to my e-mail pointing out the broken caster. Within a few days they sent me a note that they had shipped a replacement. What we got was a full set of five which may come in handy if these casters are fragile and break in the future. Chair now fully functional and my teenager loves it (well, you should see what she was using prior to the new chair).

Pros price mesh back arm rests built pretty solidcons very little adjust-abilityGood chair, it works for what I need. It gets pretty hot here so I wanted a mesh back to help air flow. I also wanted something with arm rests. However, you cannot adjust this chair much at all. You can adjust the height and it swivels and rolls, but you cannot adjust the tilt, recline or back rest height at all. You cannot adjust the arm rests either, except for setting them slightly wider apart w/ the allen screws. (i'm talking centimeters) But, it actually fits me pretty good, just wish it was slightly taller to align with of my desk. I have it set all the way up (i'm 5'7). Also the seat cushion works fine, but probably could be a little thicker. All in all, I kinda knew what I was getting into, and it all works good w/ me. I've only had it a day, but it feels pretty solid and could probably get a few years use out of it.Hope this helps

The back is a little lower than expected for a "midback" chair, (note mid-back, not medium). That aside, it's really comfortable, fairly simple to put together, even if I didn't think so while doing it, and it breathes very well. Only the lazyboy recliners I have beat it for comfort.I'm updating my review due to quality issues I've had with the chair. First, the hydraulic lift in it slowly leaks out, so the chair goes from full height to sitting on the floor in the space of a couple minutes. I'm very tall, so I need the seat higher. Second, at the 1 year 9 month mark, one of the wheels broke off. (Not came out, the whole end of the branch broke off. The redistributed weight caused the main pin that attaches another wheel to shear off a week later. The seat is still comfortable, although decidedly leaning forward with the missing parts. I'm currently looking for a way to put solid legs on the chair, but at the price, which is the reason the stars didn't go lower, it may just be easier to buy a new one.

This was my first time buying an office chair since I’ve never had the need to. I just recently bought a loft bed with an underneath desk and was looking for something that would be comfortable and affordable, and this is definitley it! I do a lot of sewing and painting and other such hobbies that require me to be leaned over some sort of flat area for long periods of time. Befor I just had a cheap stool from Walmart that sufficed until, like I said, I got my bed/desk. After that I wanted something that would definitely be comfortable for long periods of use. And let me tell you, I can sit in the chair almost all day! The padding is extremely comfortable, I love the height adjustment and the entire way the chair is shaped, I can’t lean back comfortably and prop my legs up somewhere if I want to watch a movie on my computer, or lean over my desk for long periods of time and still be comfortable. I would definitley reccomend this chair to anyone that wants an office chair of more than decent quality for a pretty good price.

Comfortable, reliable, exactly what I was looking for. Raises and lowers easily, instructions are simple. Just leave 30 minutes for assembly and enjoy.

This is a surprising good chair. The adjustability is low, but this chair can go quite low, which is what I needed.

The chair was comfortable but the metal support in the back portion broke after several years of use. It was fortunate that I did not fell out off the chair.
