Spread [Blu-ray]

This movie is hot. If you like Ashton Kutcher you will see him in a hot new way. It's pretty good if that's the kind of thing you are looking for.

Excellent story and great cast.

Remember when Richard Gere played a drop-dead gorgeous male prostitute in designer suits? Not to be confused with Dan Aykroyd's "Fred Garvin, Male Prostitute!" character. Well, in "Spread," Ashton Kutcher is more like the guy that Cheap Trick sings about in "He's A Whore." He's not smart, he doesn't dress well, he isn't particularly adept at disguising the fact that he sleeps with rich women so he can hang out at their fancy homes and eat gourmet food. Even when a particularly successful female attorney (played by Anne Heche) figures out that he's using her, she kind of can't resist him. Strange movie but probably realistic in its portrayal of desperate young people who will never achieve anything once their looks are gone.

This is simply about how young good-looking people "might" survive, in Hollywood, (while imagining someone will discover them), using their good-looks, sexy-bodies, and ultimately sex itself.

I rented this movie the first day of release, simply because I was there, and I like Ashton. I actually had never heard of it prior to seeing it for rent. Boy was I surprised when I saw it!!!! I decided I would own it at some point to keep in my collection. Glad I have one now.

If you enjoy watching a bunch of shallow people use each other, this is the movie for you. Without plot or substance.

I really enjoyed watching this movie, it has a great story to it. This movie looks really good on blu-ray, some of the scenes are really vivid. I am very happy with this purchase.

DVD is excellent! I reviewed the disc and everything appears to be fine if I have the chance again I will order more.
