Only thing I'll use, now!
The only thing I'd remembered about paper litter was the negative, the fact that you can't just sift out the wet bits with a straining scoop. (tips on that to follow) But, my cat Tesla got a serious infection from clay litter compacted in a claw, and we had to switch to paper litter till it healed.I have two of their 4 litter boxes in one tiny room. The shelves and everything in there are always covered in white dust from clay litter. I clean it away and it's everywhere again in no time. The grit from clay always gets spread everywhere and scratches the floors. Not having that dust anymore is reason enough to switch to fresh news. My Asthmatic cat certainly agreesPros:With the paper litter, there's no cloud of dust in my face when I clean the boxes, and no floor grit.I don't have to worry about any more toe infections from impacted clay in claws. One 25 lb bag of paper litter is lasting me twice as long as a 30 lb bucket of clay litter.Cheaper, because it lasts longer. It's a great way to make use of recycled paper.I'm can compost it.Available in UNSCENTED! fragrances are bad for cats and perfume+poo doesn't smell any better than just poo. If you're allergic to most added fragrances (like I am) this is extra important.Since I'm allergic to soy inks the compost will only be for flowers, not veg, but that's still better than piles of clay in a land fill.Tips:The more often you scoop, the easier it is to find the used bits. Litter boxes should always be scooped daily, regardless of litter type, but doing it frequently also makes it easier to spot peed-on litter before it dries. If your cat pees only small amounts at a time, the paper can dry out before you go to scoop. If this happens, look for swollen bits. Thicker bits mean they expanded from having gotten wet.Tesla covers his tiny pee spots, so I gently scoop back top bits until I see lower bits that look a bit swollen or are coming apart. I scoop out swollen ones and some around it.My other cat, Schroedinger, has serious excess urination and doesn't cover anything. This litter can handle her buckets of pee, as the paper just swells up and soaks it up like sponges.I heavily recommend using biodegradable puppy pee pads as liners in the boxes. If a dribble gets through the gaps between paper bits, they absorbs it. Every so often I let the boxes get low. After scooping, I pour unused litter into a bag and put the liner in my paper compost, add a new liner, and dump the litter back in.Plastic absorbs odors. I used to have to empty, scrub, and soak our boxes ever so often to appease my picky cat. Paper doesn't stick to the plastic like clay, so it would be easier now even if I didn't use the liners. But with the liners, I don't usually bother. Sometimes I mist the bottom of the box with alcohol and let it dry before putting in a new liner.

Best scented paper litter with minimal mess!
I recently switched to scented paper litter for my cat, and I’m genuinely impressed. The fresh, subtle scent is a huge upgrade from the typical dusty litters I’ve used before. It keeps the litter area smelling clean without being overpowering, which is a big win in a smaller living space. One of the best things about this litter is how little mess it creates. The paper pellets don’t scatter as easily as clay or wood litter, and there’s barely any dust — perfect for cats (and humans) with sensitivities. It’s also super lightweight, which makes scooping and changing the litter box much easier.Overall, this litter combines a pleasant, clean scent with low-maintenance cleanup. My cat adjusted quickly, and I’m loving how tidy and fresh everything feels. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to keep things smelling great with minimal fuss!

Just buy it!
I typically don't write a whole lot of reviews, but I gotta say... this stuff right here is amazing; especially when paired with the metal litter boxes! I was worried at first; how my cats would take to this litter, but they don't mind it at all. This stuff is way more cost effective, as you don't have to change it out as often, it's a lot less smelly, and it doesn't get all gross and clumpy. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to sift because the pellets are larger, but I can live with that if it takes away the headache of everything else that comes with the normal standard crap. Plus, this is biodegradable recycled paper so it's eco friendly! I will never go back to normal cat litter.

It’s okay
Never used pellets before for cat litter but I needed to buy some in a hurry for our new kitten who has special litter needs. This was one of the first few I came across with better ish reviews so I bought it. It’s okay. I have the same concerns as other reviewers about the plastic in the pieces. There was a lot. The pee just gets absorbed into the pieces so it starts to smell bad after a short time. It worked for a what I needed as a starter bag of pellets for a first time pellet user in a hurry. I wouldn’t buy it again though

Great pellet litter!
I had to switch over to the pellet litter for a bit after my cat had surgery. Both he and my other cat adjusted to/used readily without problems. I didn't have time to do the gradual switch as they recommend, but no issue luckily. This litter does a great job of odor control. There's definitely an adjustment period getting used to this when you typically use more traditional type cat litters. Every household is different and depending on your cat(s) usage, but I scooped out (find the plastic scooper made for pellet litter for best results) the solid waste at least once a day, did my best to scoop out the areas that had the most urine (pellets will expand/fatten up a bit when wet so you can tell), then I was probably dumping out whole box/replacing completely every 3-4 days. I did mine based on how the pellets looked and when I thought I was starting to notice more of a urine odor. I may have gotten away with 1x a week change, but I'm not used to using this type. But again, it works pretty great and one definite plus is that it's better for the environment.

Odor and Messy free
This product amazes me. Odorless, nontracking, and very easy to clean. The pellets do dissolve and my fur baby loves it!
