Good but painfully expensive primer
Its GW primer. It does what it is supposed to do

Where have you been all my life? Also: follow advice on best use!
I usually work at 1:64 scale and below and haven't been using rattle cans to prime models, but even for the smallest figures or dioramas this is such a time saver. I followed advice--shake can for two full minutes, use only on a dry, warm day... and wear a mask and work outdoors if possible and be careful or which way the wind is blowing--and it went on perfectly. Very stinky chemicals, but worth the trouble of masking up or wearing a respirator to avoid the fumes.

Make sure to SHAKE the HECK out of it!!
Purchased this from my local game store, so this isn’t going to be about the packaging or delivery, but of the product itself. First of all, I’ve used many of the paints and supplies this company makes, and even though they are expensive, you are getting your money’s worth, and if you paint commissions, you can’t go wrong with Citadel. Citadel is consistent, and one of the few brands that I know of that has consistent quality and pigments, you can buy a paint pot from them today, and buy that exact same paint a year later and the match will be perfect! That being said, this specific color primer, along with Grey Seer, is designed specifically for Citadel’s new line of Colour Contrast Paints. Grey Seer has a silky finish that’s consistent with the brand but the same CANNOT be said for Wraithbone. This specific color does leave some sort of powdery residue that leaves your minis with an odd texture and “bumpy” look. This specific lineup of paint separates VERY quickly and you have to spend a little bit more time (and muscle) shaking the can to make sure the paint is properly mixed. When I purchased my can, I had to beat it up a bit more just to loosen up the marble, and you’ll have to shake this can often to avoid the powdery texture. It’s a very good primer with an almost flawless finish. But make sure to shake the can really well, especially during your first few sprays, or it will remove detail from your minis!! That’s the only issue I have. Hopefully this formula get perfected over time.

A finicky paint
This product is ok. But it requires a lot of technical application. This is the second can I bought. I just can’t give up on citadel tho. You really do have to give this a good shake for at least two minutes but really should be more. Also wraithbone really needs to be applied in the perfect temperature/humidity settings.

Overpriced, underperforming
Yes, I went into it knowing and doing all the tips and tricks as a returning hobbyist, but it's honestly garbage basecoat. If you want this specific GW coat, look into an airbrush if you can.I used the remainder of a 6 year old bottle of different basecoat I had from another company that had no issues.... Needless to say, I know which I went to the general store for the remainder of my legion army (at a fraction of the price even).

20$ chalk in a can
Dries chalky and you'll have to scrape it off your models and reprime them. Do not buy this, 6$ satin rustoleum will turn out better.
