Encased Belt Clip Holster for Spigen Tough Armor Case (iPhone 6 Plus 5.5") (Case sold separately)

One of the best clips I've ever owned. The clips holds my iPhone snug while in the Tough Armor case. I'm constantly hitting corners and desks (IT guy)with the case and clip and my phone has yet to come out of the clip. The only flaw I have with this clip is that it scuffs the side of the case. The top "hinge" part of the clip rubs the finish off the case. This is minor as the Tough Armor case is supposed to get beat up not the actual phone. Overall, I was happy with the case and holster combination. I was able to get in rose gold and it does a good job of protecting my phone. I bought the case and holster Sept 2015 and had my first problem with it May 2017. The problem was that the clip that holds in the phone broke. I had been anticipating this moment because I could see the clip bending out.Update May 2017 - I ordered this product twice. The one I received Sept 2015 had the clip on the long side. The second time (May 2017), the clip was on the short side. I needed it because my other one had broken so I kept it and it is working out, but the one I received was not the one pictured.

Good concept but after less then a month of use the clip came off the holder. Of course it's beyond the return window so I am out of luck. Not to mention the piece that holds the phone in has also damaged my case so I had to buy a new case too.

Clip does what it's suppose to do. Hold secure the phone. Unfortunately to release the phone is very difficult and placing and releasing the phone with the spigen case messes up the cover and loosens it with time.

I ordered this holster to use with my iPhone 6 plus case in conjunction with the Speigen Tough Armor Case. In my experience the holster fits the case perfectly. I am not going to comment on the durability of the plastic release tab because I am returning the holster immediately. I will say that the release tab does function properly out of the package. My problem is that the hard plastic of the latch has to rub along the side and edge of the Tough Armor case to secure it. This leaves fine scratches and rubs the finish off of the edge of the case where the pressure points are the strongest. I noticed this with just a few openings and closings of the latch. At this point it is minor but with repeated usage it will just keep marring the finish further. It is too bad they did not place some felt lining under the latch to eliminate the marring. And I opened and closed it with care. This may not bother some people but it bothers me. I realize the Speigen case is not the most expensive case out there but it is very nice looking and has nice finish colors. I keep my phone in pristine condition and I don't want marring and scratches on it. For this reason I am returning it and am buying a leather holster pouch designed to hold this large phone with a case on it. If it had not been for this one problem I would have kept the holster because (at least out of the package) it functioned well. It also fit the phone with case perfectly and it looks pretty good. As to how it would have held up, I will never know.

This is the third holder I've bought from this company. The only reason this is my third is because of my clumsiness. Otherwise I think these will last the life of the phone or longer. My first holder got caught on the car door and it pulled the clip off. The second one I had for about a year and I dropped the holder with phone in it from about 6 feet high. The phone was fine but the top of the holder that holds the phone in place broke off. Otherwise I think the holder would've lasted.

This is a reasonably good product, though I found it a little hard to get the phone out of the holster in the beginning but got used to it. The one thing that I wasn't happy with was the holster clip fell apart within a couple of weeks. When I tried to contact the company about a replacement, I did not get any response until my fourth attempt. However, at that point they did exactly as they said and sent a replacement right away. At the end of the day, I would buy this again as it does the job of protecting the phone and providing a secure way to attach to your belt.

This is a great product I’m always using my phone at work and due to I have an I phone I can’t keep it in my pocket. Iv just now broken my one I ordered on the lower left clip bottom broke off and it’s still is holding strong to my phone. It’s great.
