I use my surround system for my computer, I use my computer as the center for my home theater. I typically just set the receiver for a decent volume, and then use the computer to adjust volume. I use the remote to dial in settings like DSP, and speaker levels. I used this remote 1 time just to set everything up, then within 4 or 5 days, I noticed that the red light was lit up on the remote. It was just sitting there. I removed the batteries, and gave it time to drain. I was never able to get it to work again. These were normal alkaline batteries too, because often times rechargeable damage remotes, because the use a lower voltage then the remote.

Bought this for 1/3 the cost of an OEM remote and everything works like the original. Would recommend this seller and their products completely.

Remote works ok for the receiver but "code set" button is non-functional to add code to control of TV.
