Okay, Doc. Got it.If you know what Listerine does, there isn't anything I can tell you. But if you don't, prepare yourself. Fill the cap about 2/3 full, pour it in your mouth and start swirling it around like you mean it - get it through the gaps in your teeth. Keep at it for about 10-15 seconds, when you will detect some incipient tingling. Give it a few more seconds. It's starting to burn, isn't it? Okay, keep swirling. Keep swirling some more. Maybe you're up to 20, 25 seconds. Now it's burning like hell, right? That is the feeling of Mouth Armageddon, where every germ (and possibly the top layer of skin) in your mouth is torched into oblivion. If your mouth was a sink and you poured Drano down your drain, that's what it'd feel like.How can anything that burns that much not do what it says? Just stick with the original 'flavor'; I've found the fancy newer varieties lacking in this department. If only they still put it in those iconic glass bottles of yore.

Nothing like the original flavor of Listerine mouthwash. It is getting hard to find it in the 1.5 liter size around here in Reston, Virginia. Just what I wanted and delivered on time.

Tried and true

I've been using the same Listerine mouth wash for decades and absolutely love it, so no complaints about the product. But my recent purchase from Amazon came in a Sam's Club box big enough to hold at least 10 bottles of Listerine and had a couple of those plastic "bags of air" tossed in as packing material. So by the time it was delivered the plastic bottles were all dented and deformed and would not stand up by themselves. Nothing leaking so far, but if I could choose a different vendor I sure would.
