Really impressed with the quality of this product, for the price! Its a really well crafted replica metal hurricane lamp, that looks and feels like the real thing! I've used real hurricane lamps before in mines and the only difference is there is no heat! It has that authentic "rattle" when carrying it around. The dimmer switch allows a subtle glow, or at max brightness its on par with bright candle light. Absolutely love this thing and I will be recommending it to people.

I bought this for a project I am putting Yogyakarta soon, I was disappointed it didn’t come with batteries and scant information as to what type either but once bought and fitted its perfect for my use.

I bought this just after our first power outage in years, to use in my garden office in case of a power outage - and we had another almost straight away, so I got to try out the light for real! It did a great job as emergency lighting in my work space. I chose it for the looks (old fashioned); it's so light weight it feels a bit cheap, but I guess that's an advantage if you actually want to take it camping. It certainly does the job, and it looks the part

Though I like the look and brightness of these lamps they are rather thin and weak especially the plastic glass. I bought 2 of these lanterns and the “glass” of one of the two had broken and a small portion had fallen out. Not the end of the world but a disappointment.

This is the cutest little lantern It looks very vintage and authentic. I love the dimmer knob, just like the old oil lanterns. It's not the brightest. You can't use it as a reading light, but works great as a navigation light.

The lamp is very beautiful. Classic look with a modern twist 😉. Made of metal and the adjustable brightness is a plus. I recommend the warm color than the white.

Alright so I see AlOT of people complaining it’s too bright…There are options of warm and cold light…I feel the people who are disappointed got the cold light…I did get the warm and the dimming options are wonderful! I’m not sure what anyone truly expects for $20 tops with taxes and stuff but it by far exceeded my expectations for the price. It’s great quality…actually made of metal and glass. Gives it a real authentic feel. It’s truly charming for a dim lit accent or completely useful at the brightest setting to light up enough in case of a power outage. I will probably be buying another for that purpose and camping. Truly great value. Don’t listen to anyone who held expectations and couldn’t even read there were options. I’m surprised they figured out how to turn it on let alone leave a review.

The lantern is beautiful, and came quickly and in excellent condition. The dimmer works well, and as a decorative piece it is a purchase I am so happy with.The only reason I gave it four stars was because it wasn't as bright as I hoped it would be, as it is a hurricane lantern and used for utility as well. In addition, the purchase did not include batteries as I hoped; to save time I would make sure that you have D batteries on hand when the delivery comes. Otherwise the lantern is beautiful and worth the purchase!!

The light that this produces is a little darker than I would like. I bought it for use in some photoshoots and ended up having to supplement the light with an additional brighter light, but the aesthetic is just what I was looking for!
