One packet per ammo can. The arsenal and ammo stash is slowly growing, so I had to order another 15-pack. These are great sizes for both ammo boxes and 5-gallon pails that store emergency food for my household. My first set of 15 packs also survived their first "annual" recharging successfully. I live in a relative low-humidity area (NorCal), but tried recharging them via baking just to see how they would handle it. So, I baked them in the oven at 250F for 6-9 hours - no melting or smelly outcome...worked like a charm. They're all back in their respective ammo can keeping moisture at bay! Great product!

It's hard to "Love it" with something as mundane as dessicant. If you need it, these work great. Be sure to size appropriately for your application and then order the next size larger...

I use these to keep moisture and mold out. They have no smell. I just place one in each box, and it helps protect my items from moisture and mold. I am very satisfied with these. I also use them in clothing covers for dresses and suits.

I used these to aid moisture control in ammo boxes. I was unsure of the size until I received them, but they are just what I wanted. I am using plastic containers to store 200 rounds of .223 in metal ammo cans. These packets should be the final touch to insure long term storage of any ammo in sealed containers.

There are two problems with this product:1. The sachets come "sealed" in a poly bag, not metallized film. Unfortunately, poly bags are slightly porous, so this product will not arrive fully dehydrated and will have a limited lifespan if it's not already saturated. Since you cannot re-dry these sachets without melting them, this is a significant problem and the vendor apparently does not understand this.2. Some of the sachets appeared to be dirty as if they were simply recycled from the packaging of another product.Bottom line, this is a poor delivery of a product of questionable origin. And while the vendor may be well intentioned, they apparently do not sufficiently understand the nature of what they're selling.I returned and will not buy again.

Husband thinks they will be great to put into ammo lock boxes. I don't know but he thought they would work well.

The packs are more like 3½ x 4½ but you are getting the correct amount of desiccant. Packets are approximately 7/16 thick. They absorb moisture well. Lost one star for incorrect picture.-Update-Be very careful if you recharge these. I baked these packets at 230 deg for 2 hrs as recommended elsewhere and these packets melted in the last few minutes. I am now trying loose silica in muslin tea bags.
