Solid Chair at a reasonable price
had a handy man assemble a few of these for my mother's house. He put the base on backwards. That didn't work. Then he tightened too much and split the wood and still the chair functioned. Once we turned the base around and re-assembled his not so handy work; the chairs were fine. Would buy them again. Good price and design.

Assembly of chairs
I purchased these chairs for they matched the chairs that we had that over time started to fail and needed to be replaced. These are high quality chairs. I have to say they were not easy to put together I had a tough time connecting the back to the seat. Once i assembled them they looked great.

Good Value For the Money
I like the design and engineering; the assembly was both simple and easy. The chair sits at a slightly forward angle that interferes with comfort. The feature I most dislike is wood selection; there are dark spots and blemishes in the wood in spite of thorough sanding and a sturdy finish. Overall, given the cost vs competition I think these chairs represent good value.

worst chairs ever!! Terribly made!and neverheard from anybody
I like the look of the chairs but impossible to put together!! The part between the chair legs is too long so it makes the legs point out crooked and on the back of the chair it's miss matched so that one side is longer than the other so that it doesn't go together straight. The seat leans forward so it's uncomfortable. Very dissatisfied and disappointed!! Going in the TRASH!! you people are terrible at least you shgould have gotten back and did somrthing you should be taken of amazon before you scew somone else!!!!!!!!

Early review based on assembly only...
We bought four Winsome Wood Windsor chairs back in 2016. They were easy to assemble and comfortable too. Now in late 2022, we wanted two more of them, but they don't seem to be available any longer. Now, in late 2022, we purchased a set of the two Giantex Windsor chairs. I found the assembly to be not too difficult, but I'm good at this sort of thing. I think the average person would find it to be moderately hard or maybe even very hard if you attempt assembly using only the 4mm Allen wrench provided with the hardware. Tools: I used a 4mm hex bit with a magnetic T-handle driver in place of the included 4mm Allen wrench. For the cylindrical nut inserts, used a #3 Phillips bit w/ another magnetic screwdriver handle. I used a cordless drill with several small bits to expand one of the misdrilled holes. Included hardware: I looked through the box / packing material, but could find no instructions. Based on screw lengths and counts, I reasoned out where each of them were to go. The four (two per chair) gold machine screws attach to the outer parts of the back rest and the gold wood screws are for the spindle base. I used one gold washer for each of these screws. The four long black machine screws are used to attach the legs to one another via a horizontal spindle. The remaining black machine screws attach the leg assembly to the seat. There are also some (eight total) / four per chair) silver nut inserts which go into holes in the the outermost backrest spindles as well as the horizontal spindle for the leg assembly. Attaching the backrest to the seat: I used a (strong) magnetic screwdriver with a #3 Phillips bit to insert the silver-colored inserts into the backs of the outermost backrest spindles. (The magnetic screwdriver is handy for removing the insert when you want to double check hole alignment.) I attached these to the seat first using the gold-colored machine screws. It helps to have a second pair of hands to hold things in place while doing this. We found that one of the holes drilled into the spindle too close to the medial side of the spindle; we had to drill an adjacent/adjoining hole in order to get that particular spindle attached. Once the outer spindles were attached, we used three gold-colored wood screws to attach the seat to the spindle base. We found that we needed to pull it back to the edge of the chair in order to get the holes to line up. One of the chairs required a slight lateral adjustment too. Attaching the legs together w/ horizontal spindle: This was fairly straightforward. We used two of the long black machine screws (per chair) along with two silver-colored nut inserts. The holes seemed to be drilled a little two deeply; if the inserts are inserted too far, you won't be able to get the screw in. We used an awl to slide the insert back into position, so it would line up with the hole drilled from the end of the spindle. We attached these screws loosely at this point. Final tightening comes after the legs are attached to the seat. Attaching legs to the seat: The leg assembly is marked with an "R" and a "L" which indicate right and left when sitting in the chair. But it also has a "B" which we thought must mean "back". Except that it doesn't work, because if you put "B" at the back of the chair, the "R" and "L" don't work out. On our first chair, we put the "B" at the back, but the chair slanted forward (the legs aren't level - they're set up so that the front of the seat will point upwards slightly). Reversing things, so that the "B" was at the front and the "R" and "L" were correct when sitting in the chair made things work. The remaining (shorter) machine screws along with lock washers are used to attach the leg assembly to the seat. I wasn't happy with how close in size the lock washers were to the hole size for the screws, so I used some larger washers (which I had on hand) beneath the lock washers. I attached the leg assembly loosely at first and then tightened everything down, including the screws holding the horizontal spindle. I sat in each of the chairs briefly; they seem okay, but I don't have enough experience with them yet to say how comfortable they are when sitting on them for extended periods.

Looks good, not too hard to put together.
They aren't that to assemble, the wrench that comes with it wears down fairly fast. Had a better one in my toolbox to finish tightening.

perfect color
I am looking for a chair of this color for a while. Because my dining table is this color, but it includes the chairs. Fortunately, this is very well matched with the color of my desk. The chair is of good quality, very sturdy and simple to install. The surface of the chair is very smooth and easy to clean. I hope they have 2 separate chairs set for sale because I need 2 more chairs.

Far from worth it
Quality of product is rough, very cheap. Had to have my original order replaced because of damage. Only to have to deal with the second order. The instructions are typical backwards incorrect and confusing. They wobble becuse the legs are not the same length. The back of the chair os not comfortable it makes you sit up to straight not relaxed. The finish is rough. Maybe $30 for the pair would be closer to a fair price.

The chairs look nice when they're all assembled but I had difficulty assembling. . I was able to find a video on YouTube that assembles the exact chair. Also the chairs need a good cushion as they are not comfortable without.

They look beautiful and are solid chairs. However, putting these chairs together was challenging as the wood has to bend to fit in order to line up the holes. 3/4 chairs, with very cautious and careful manoeuvring came together well; the last one however a spindle snapped it what appears to be a weak place in the wood. Contacted the seller, hopefully they will replace it! Update: The seller was amazing and sent a replacement very quickly! Great service, thank you!
