It gives a good shave, but.
I bought a new Gillette razor with 5 blades in the U.K. they lasted over 2 years, so I ordered a batch in Pune. The standard appears to have deteriorated a bit. Im not sure if it's the blades or the lubrication strip that is to blame. The new blade doesn't glide through the bristles as well as the previous batch. I guess the temperature may have affected the gliding capability of the blade ..

Mach 5
Mach 3 offers a cleaner shave however you have to rely on trimmer if you happened to groom after few weeks.Yes it is kind of bit spotty in some areas. Mach 5 is set to fill the gap.

Average tenure but expensive
Initial two weeks the blade is smooth then it loses it sheen. I expected one blade to last atleast 3-4 weeks.. given simple daily one time shave.
