BLACKHAWK SERPA Quick Disconnect Kit (2 Female/1 Male)

Great for my setup

If you’re not familiar with this system, it allows you to attach the male disk to a holster (Blackhawk or customized Kydex with properly drilled holes). The female attachment is put on a thigh rig or Tec-Lok belt attachment, etc. This allows user to quickly move 1 holster to different carry options & locks in place. Highly recommend if you know what you’re doing.

So, I ordered two of these sets for my taser. They were kind of hassle on the first set because you need to have the correct screw for the correct adapter otherwise it’s just spin (they all look the same but if your spins try a different screw until you find the right one). I wasted like 3 hours on this until I figured out that little nugget… then it took about 5 minutes to assemble the second set.I ordered two because I have two external carriers (one brown and one black) and also the belt attachment. I put a female adapter on both vest carriers, my belt teklok, and my backpack (molle). I have put one male adapter on my Blackhawk taser holster, and the second male adapter is currently not being used.This has made swapping carriers and/or where I carry my taser a breeze. Swapping carriers is always a hassle and this just makes like so easy. Well worth the money! No more dinking around with moving the molle panels and/or removing the holster from it to put on my belt.I plan to order a set for my firearm and attach one to my nightstand and one to my car (separate holster than my duty holster).It’s my favorite Blackhawk accessory because it’s so versatile and makes life so easy!Oh, PS, super easy to go from straight draw to canted draw.. just adjust where you place the male adapter before securing it into the female adapter.

When I put on the QD kit on the Blackhawk Sherpa Holster for both my P226 and P365 to facilitate using one mount for both holsters. What I found is that the holster protrudes significantly further out by at least 3/4 of an inch. this make snagging it more pronounced. This doesn't interfere with open carrying around the house, yard or out in the fields but just going around town it makes it a bit more noticeable. but all in all I like it and it is my go to for O.C when at home.

Overall the mounts are good. I did read the reviews of people having issues with the insert ends not gripping well enough to where the screws start free spinning. However I never came across that issue mainly because i pressed really hard on the inset end and somehow that worked.You also want to make sure you're double checking your sizes of screws before just ripping open a baggy and using the screws and inserts. Not length but width. Maybe i'm a unicorn, but i never saw anyone mention that in the reviews.The only major issue i have with these is the positioning of the release tab pull things. The way i had to mount them on my drop leg platform and STRIKE platform for my rig has made disconnecting it more difficult than it should be. And believe me when i say i tried every rotation to see if they worked. But they don't.

I got this product for a specific use. I wanted to mount my serpa holster under my coffee table but also on my bed fame. For that purpose, the only replacement is two serpa holsters.The male plate screwed into my holster easily and is very secure. The material is the same as my holster and feels rock solid. It's blackhawk. The female plate mounted under my coffee table without difficulty. The qd kit only comes with screws to combine other blackhawk products so I needed some long wood screws. However the female plate has several holes to mount it in numerous configurations. It's locked tight in place.The male plate can be a little tricky to line up into the female plate, especially not looking at it. This product is not designed for blind replacement. I've gotten better at it but still find myself needing to look half the time. I do like that in the same configuration, the plates allow for multiple cants. In my application, I can change the cant for better access depending on where I am on my couch.This product is also good for carrying in your car if your state allows it. Mount it in a convenient place, and then you don't need a different holster for your car. Multiple holsters of differing types leads to poor draw technique.My biggest complaint about this product is on the range. After the qd kit is applied, there's some play in the unit. It's secure don't get me wrong. But if the purpose of this product for you is to use on the range, or worse, use on duty or in true cqc application, look elsewhere. I had a difficult time putting the female plate on my belt platform (no problem on cqc platform), and even after cranking on the screws, there's play between the two plates. It's not a perfect system and just doesn't feel stable like the platform did before the qd kit. It's also fairly thick and projects the holster outward.I'm just an amateur shooter, but even I remove the qd kit and attach directly to the cqc platform. For mounting your holster in multiple home defense locations, though, the convenience cannot be beat. Not recommended for heavy field use

The product is super great. It isn't for everyone, but if you go in and out of places where you have to disarm repeatedly, the added gun safety of being able to detach your gun AND holster without noticeably sacrificing retention is invaluable. It is also great if you desire the ability to, for instance, transfer your gun from your belt to your hip and do not want to carry two separate holsters for this. My only issue with the product is that the pre-drilled holes in the female component do not completely line up with the serpa belt-holder attachment and so I am only able to have two of three bolts attached, making the holster feel like it could be snapped off my belt with enough force, but so far I haven't actually had any issues.

Pretty solid kit. Having two female parts rather than two male parts is beneficial. It's good being able to not have an empty holster sitting on my chest when I'm not carrying. The mechanism doesn't allow for much fine tuning of the angle of the holster but luckily one of the set angles works for me. I can reach and draw much faster with this than with a belt holster, particularly with a molle tac vest.

This is a very versatile system. I've been running these for a few months now on various pieces of gear and I've found them to be very durable and easy to use. It makes switching between firearms and different pieces of kit soooo much easier. With all of the different holster options that Blackhawk! has and their easy availability it's definitely become my go-to set-up.

I wanted to get a quick disconnect setup so I can use the leg platform and my belt platform for my P320. I found this setup and it fits the bill.I put the male adapter (the one that looks like a gear) on the holster. I put one of the other ones on the leg platform and the other on the belt attachment. Now I can easily switch between the two.I had to use the screws that came with the holster to attach the male adapter (looks like a gear). For the belt attachment I had to use the small spacers on the onside and the rounded head screws on the back and once it garbed the space I was able to tighten it and it would hold securely.

Set up is simple. A little thought needs to go into how you plan on using your gear. Durable design and functional.

▪️Switch between holsters and platforms quick and easy, solid it doesn’t wobble.▪️Pushes your holster out 5/8” more from mounting directly on platform. This is closer to where your arm naturally falls so I think this is positive.▪️Mount the male fitting (thing that looks like an AR bolt face) to your holsters.▪️ Mount the female fitting to belt mounted platforms, molle system or even screw it to a wall. (I have seen them mounted into vehicles and under desks.)▪️ Share the same platform between various types of pistols or holsters for light bearing holster.▪️ Rotate holster on platforms easily requires two hands but is surprisingly easy.
