I bought this as a christmas gift for my 5, almost 6 year old little cousin. Before I gave it to her, I did open it and take a test shot, since it doesn't have a flash any photos taken in low light are not the best quality but I think this is absolutely PERFECT for little kids! It is TINY but a perfect size for her little hands. She was sooo excited when she opened it and she figured out how to play snake and change the frames as soon as it was charged up. It does come with a little bit of a charge but by the time she actually received it, it was dead (it had been turned off, in the box for close to a month). since it was a gift for a family member, I cannot speak on battery life but I think it's a great gift. Definitely an improvement on the Fujifilm Film cameras I had when I was a kid!!

I have twin 3-yr old granddaughters who will be 4 in April and bought both the pink and blue cameras to avoid fights. I’m very proud to say that of all the Xmas presents from several sets of grandparents, aunts, and uncles, these cameras are their favorite gifts. (Take that, in-laws and ex-wife!). Lol …These are wonderfully built and take pretty good pictures for what some would consider a toy. They’re perfect for those of you who are tired of toddlers constantly “borrowing” your $1,000 smartphone to "take pictures." With this inexpensive alternative, there’s the extra appeal of the camera being “theirs” which, even at three years old, is important to start a positive sense of ownership.As far as the pictures are concerned, they’re not bad and parents can download the good ones onto a computer or laptop. And by good ones for three-year-olds, that’s three out of the 1,500 they snap at first … lol. My son and daughter-in-law have set up a “charging area” for the girls to plug in their phones to recharge them. My son told me that now, they’re averaging recharging once during the day and then plugging in at night when the girls go to bed.One other thing, I have a daughter and another daughter-in-law that have been, or currently are, professional photographers and they are beside themselves and thrilled to talk to their nieces about how to take a picture. Family bonding time!!!!!Obviously, I give this my best recommendation!

I have purchased 3 of these cameras. The first one being blue for my son to test and see how the product really was. Amazing! My son has taken quite a few photos and loves his daily picture challenge. The camera fits well in his hands, the camera is super easy to figure out how to use. He tried to push the memory card once. It shot out of the camera and across the room, haha. Spring loaded, once and done. He now leaves it in the camera it works great.After the first purchase I went ahead and purchased two more for my daughters to enjoy and take pictures as well. They arrived today. They waited for the mail to go for hours. Finally they arrived, unfortunately only one works. My one daughter quickly figured her camera out and started taking pictures. The noise effect on the camera made it simple for her to know what she was selecting and taking a picture. The frame option made her giggle and add so much more fun to her photography.Unfortunately my other daughter is very upset her camera does not work. We thought maybe the batteries were dead. The other 2 arrived fully charged. We had the camera plugged in to charge for 40 minutes it still does nothing. No noise, no screen nothing. I'm going to look to see who to contact to hopefully have it fixed.Over all we recommend this product 2 out of 3 cameras are still good odds. Great for little photographers.

UPDATED: Excellent customer service! As soon as I contacted the seller about the defective camera the seller immediately contacted me and is sending a replacement camera out. I was very pleased with the prompt response. I know my son will be excited to have a working camera as well :)Original review:I ordered two of these cameras for my son and daughter to take photos of their new baby brother. My daughters camera (pink) works just fine and she loves it. I do wish the battery would last a littler longer. However, my son's camera (blue) came out of the package defective. The camera button doesn't work therefore we cannot take any pictures or select any other options. The reviews I read on this camera were great for kids and I was excited to receive them. However, I am extremely disappointed that it was damaged from the start.

As a play camera I suppose it does the job. My daughter loves playing with it and taking pictures. One thing to note, this camera is very small, smaller then it looked in the pictures. Picture quality is poor... but premium pictures are really not the point here. Listen, this isn’t a Nikon, the camera looks and feels very cheap. All that said, it’s survived a bunch of drops and my kids enjoy playing with it when it isn’t lost under the sofa, so that’s worth something.

Purchase this as a gift for my three-year-old niece. My daughter also had a camera like this when she was younger and we always liked to see what pictures she would take and what she saw meaningful at the age of four! This camera is very similar to the one that we previously had. It’s a little bit smaller, but for us this is perfect since we are giving it to you at three-year-old. The first picture is the camera and my daughters hand and the second one is my hand to show the size. I also love that it creates puzzles out of the pictures that you take and it also has a little filters on it for birthdays and holidays.Hope this review is helpful!
