Brilliant
5/5, I use this for checking hot oil temperature and inserting into my steaks. It's fast to read battery life is great, battery is the same watch batteries to change it, quality is great, sturdy but light. Turns on when u open the metal prod then instantly turn off when u close it. Magnet strength is good, not too strong. Can use this instantly out of the box.You don't need a wireless thermometer unless your using huge big cuts of meat within the oven or BBQ or smoker. This can't be used inside the oven.I used this for BBQ, pan, for steaks , works wonders for me

Effective and easy to clean
The only reason I didn't give this five stars is it took us a while to figure out how to handle it - probably need a 'third hand', one to hold the frying pan, one to baste the steak AND another one to hold the temperature gauge. Not a fault of the product, more operator error :-)

So easy to use and came just in time to check the temperature of my Greek style leg of lamb.Why have I messed around for years with old guage style meat thermometers when I could have bought one of these??

Even lets a "can't cook won't cook" like me cook food!
I used this to experiment with cooking food in my air fryer. It was really nice to be able to get the food temperature without having to destroy the food and taste it. It works perfectly, and it is VERY fast at getting the temperature.

Looks Great and Just Works!
Like how it just works right out the box. Swing the probe open and it automatically just starts reading the temp. Once you insert it into a meat and press the hold it reads in seconds. Accurate, fast, and cools down quickly for a new reading which is what you want when you have to test multiple foods at once. Design is very slick too.
