SAN Pedro Hot Sauce Red Piquin Peppers From Mexico 8.5oz 2 Glass Bottles Sealed

I don’t purchase this particular hot sauce for its heat necessarily, but for the unique flavor and distinct taste combined with food, especially Tacos, Burritos and any other Mexican fish. Beef, pork, and fish, come alive with this delicious sauce. It’s also a perfect flavor to enhance an omelet or a great dipping sauce for steamed shrimp. It’s plenty hot enough that makes it doubly enjoyable but doesn’t overwhelm the “delicately rich” flavor of the sauce itself. Just talking about makes my mouth water, and now I’m hungry.

This is a surprisingly great sauce. It is a step up from popular cayenne sauces like Tobasco/Franks in both heat AND flavor. I dipped my finger in the bottle for a taste and had to repeat! Note that it does NOT have a slow drip top. I intend to give up cayenne sauces for this one. The piquin pepper has so much more flavor and I can take the heat. Cheers!

It’s thinner and pours easily, so be careful you don’t douse your food like I did. The taste and heat is just right! Way better than any of the store-bought brands around here.

Great hot sauce. Why is it mexican, texican, american restaurants never have such wonderful sauces available? Oh yeah, they only send one bottle.

My husband and I enjoy using this sauce on all the Mexican food that we eat, especially eggs! The piquin pepper is underrated. We like it even better than the jalapeno or the serrano, which we have eaten for many years. I was first introduced to the piquin peppers by my best friend's mother in McAllen, Texas. Since then I have been looking for a hot sauce made with those peppers that I really liked. This is it. Too bad they do not sell it in the grocery stores here. I found out about it when my spouse and I ate breakfast at the Acapulco Restaurant in Corpus Christi, Texas, last month.

Hot enough for me but a Pepper Head may need something stronger

This is the best hot sauce ever. It physically pains me to spend $12 a bottle on it, but in the Northeast US I cant seem to get ahold of it locally (or anywhere besides Amazon, really). I hear it's super inexpensive if you can find it in a grocer in Texas.
