This has everything you need if you just want a simple, easy digital alarm clock. Tapping it to briefly light up the screen let's you see the screen and flipping it over turns the alarm clock off and on.It's got a clean modern design -- the brightly colored, rubberized finish is really appealing and unlike anything else I've seen on the market.The AAA batteries seem to run down about every month, which seems like a lot, but on the bright side you can tell they need to be changed when the display gets dimmer.

This is my all time alarm clock. When the alarm goes off, you can just flip it to hush it, no need to find small buttons. Or just tap and it will snooze. In the middle of the night just tap it to have the clock/time light up briefly. This is the coolest alarm clock I have owned, and I own several by now (and have given away some as gifts).An additional feature for future versions: Allow choice of alarm sounds Iincluding a couple more than just the beep)

I really like the way this clock functions. It is simple to set and easy to see if the alarm is on. I also like that the backlight isn’t on all night. It only comes on for a few seconds if you touch it.It has a feature where it automatically synchronizes with the official time-setting radio signal, but apparently that only works in Europe. Not sure why, because I have a different clock here in the US that works on that signal.The only reason I can’t give this five stars is that this clock only lasts for about five years, then the display goes haywire. I know this because this is my third one. (Fourth, if you count that the last one I got was DOA, which they replaced). But I like it so much that I guess I’ll have to keep forking over $40 or so every few years. Sigh.

Please don't buy this alarm clock. I was very happy with it for the first two weeks, although it would never set so the correct time automatically; I had to enter it in manually. Besides that, it was fine. I was really happy with the flip feature and the low profile.However, two weeks later I had to replace the batteries. And then another two weeks later or so. After replacing the batteries multiple times, it just stopped working (within 3 months so I couldn't return it to Amazon but had to contact Lexon). I contacted Lexon and got an automated reply and was asked not to respond to that message or my query would move down in the queue. Finally in July I gave up and contacted Amazon for help, who directed me to Lexon support through Amazon. I gave a VERY detailed description of everything that happened, including the attachment of my initial Lexon e-mail and reply. The person who read my message must not have even read it at all. They said "Please contact our customer support on our website they will arrange an exchange." I can't even reply to this message through Amazon. So I sent another message to Lexon and got another automatic reply.If it works, this alarm clock is great. But spending $40 for a clock where I can't even get a replacement AND more annoying, can't even get a real response, is VERY frustrating. Please do not purchase!

I wanted a clock that would not glow in the night -- if I wake up, I don't like to know what time it is, I want to roll over and go back to sleep. This one does exactly that. It's dark at night unless you tap on it, but in daylight the numbers are visible. There aren't a lot of options: just the time and alarm. You turn it over to turn it off, and then at night, you turn it over again so the alarm will sound the next morning. There are two indicators that you have it on the right side for the alarm to sound: the "on" on the top, and the time that the alarm is set for will display in the window. It's a little bigger than a deck of cards, so it's not huge.

The clock looks great and is good quality but is much smaller than expected. It’s actually rather tiny. I think it’s not worth the price given the fact that it’s so small I forget about it entirely end up looking for my phone instead (which was the whole reason I decided to get this in the first place). The clock is easy to set up - I was a little confused at first but now it runs accurately and the alarm works. The clock does not stay bright all the time so during the day it’s hard to read on top of the fact that it’s small. I like the color and it’s been working for the past week so it more of a decorative than functional. Overall it seems durable and shows the right time but I wouldn’t recommend to someone who wants to solely rely on it especially in a rush.

Gave it to my 8 year-old-grandson for Christmas. He says it works, he likes it and it deserves 5 stars.
