NEWTRY 1%-10% Fertilizer Injector for Drip Irrigation, Adjustable Water Powered Dosing Pump, 3/4" NPT

I use this injector on my medium sized garden to pull in liquid organic fertilizer. I use exclusively drip pipe and emitters with a 155 mesh filter. When all the garden zones are opened up, the injection is smooth and quick. However, I did find it worked even better with a small booster pump placed between the injector and the filter to help raise the PSI in the system. That is not the fault of this injector though. I may get another if it holds up another season.

Went to use the injector this afternoon and it wasnt pulling any fertilizer. took it apart hoping to find something simple but instead found the piston rod was broken. Absolutely no luck finding a replacement part or phone number.

We getting ready to be on 3rd injector since may. NOT happy We even put in a 20 lb regulator inline to drop the water pressure

This has helped get fish emulsion to our blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries.

Need replacement parts piston broke. Anyone know where to find them?

Piston rod broke while in use and this is the only part that doesn’t come in the rebuild kit, paid good money for something that wouldn’t work as described for two months. Tried finding customer support # or email with no luck

Been a month or 2 since using it every few days for a few hours. Was curious how durable it would be. I am just about to contact Newtry about a couple broken parts. The first is the air release on top that was acting a little funny, and according to the instruction manual I went to dismantle it to inspect the o-ring by unscrewing the parts but in some places it appears due to the slimness of the material are prone to break. It did not unscrew out, the screw part broke off and remained in the top part. I thought about contacting them about a new part, but that is time and hassle and due to needing to use it I spent multiple trips to make my own part from the hardware store. The second part that broke is not fixable and therefore I will be writing to get multiple replacement parts. I hope not much more breaks. I do appreciate they have offered a 250$ model vs other brands` 400 to 1000$ models, though they still need to make their parts out of extremely durable parts that won't break or out of items easily replaced from any hardware store parts. They were friendly and prompt dealing with some questions I had before ordering. Shipping time took a few weeks, though came sooner than expected. What you are seeing in the picture is the top of the piston broken off into the bright blue squarish piece.Update: Hello all. Originally bought in May, delivered June 10th, now kaput and broken even with the following broken pieces over time and shipped from company: top air release valve, 3 consecutive piston poles, an oring, and the piston pole blue key that the pole fits into to connect to the valve-body. A few days ago I received an offer to get a replacement or refund; I wish I went with the refund. My whole new injector pump is scheduled to arrive on September 9th ( couple days). It will buy me a bit of time to figure out another option, because this is bound to break soon. Kind interactions with the staff, sent me a replacement parts so far for free until the one year warranty. I have much experience with agricultural machines and am careful to operate them properly. Since the first issue I have been using grease liberally, and have fixed broken pieces carefully. I have attached a photo of the most recent dual break, this time the top of the piston pole was almost broken off (worthless now) and you can compare an extra new valve body with an intact blue slot for the piston pole, and the used valve-body with broken blue piston slot. I think I read it was made out of abs. That may be fine for most of the pump, but some specialty pieces need to be majorly beefed up, strengthened before putting back on the market. I will now contact the seller to update them personally.Update: New replacement injector arrives on time. Worked fine that evening; broken the next day, same spot, new photo, piston broke off in red key block before I could irrigate a second time. Operating in correct psi range.Update: $ has been refunded. Very quality customer service.

I have only been using the injector for a few week now. Seems to be well made and working as expected. Really make watering and fertilizing so easy.
