Vesta Paella Ready Meal 146 g (Pack of 7)

I was pleasantly surprised to see these meals listed on Amazon, almost didn't order as the offer seemed so much better than anything else listed on the net. I'm glad I did, as the meals are as good as I remember from years ago and make an excellent standby at home or work.

My son loves these meals so when I discovered that I could buy them in this 7 pack at such a great price I was more than happy - so was my son! Once ordered, they were delivered within a couple of days too. I will be ordering again.

Along with Beef Risotto, Paella is one of my favourite Vesta meals (but why has the wonderful Chicken Supreme & Rice disappeared may I ask?.....) Anyway, Paella still tastes almost the same as when I bought my first packet back in the early 70s - less salt content nowadays. The recipe has changed slightly down the years...although the familiar prawns & mixed veg remain, does anyone else remember when "chicken" was also one of the ingredients?...but I digress - this is still a great treat, a culinary classic. I add a pinch of salt to the knob of butter when preparing it. As Vesta meals seem to be disappearing at an alarming rate from our supermarket shelves, thank goodness Amazon have come to the rescue - cheers!

Rice is far too hard and dry causing me to choke

It's great on it's own . With chicken, or as a filling for a baked potato.

Don’t know why this is hard to get I just love them

Love this paella. I have always loved it but have not been able to buy it anywhere for some time. I bought the large quantity to keep in the cupboard but it hasn't lasted long.
