I bought this because I can't wear a wrist watch currently and I can't get used to using my phone to tell the time like younger people. Nice little pocket watch that looks the part. It is quite lightweight, made of steel, and comes with a very nice quality 32" steel chain. It is easy to change the time - pull the knob at the top upwards and turn. To open the watch push the knob on the top downwards to release the catch and flip open the cover. The face has roman numerals for 12 hour time, and smaller red numerals for 24 hour time, which is handy. It's never going to be an heirloom when it costs less than £6 delivered but I do own a working 100 year old wind-up pocket watch and it is not a perfect timekeeper and requires regular winding. I have been using that but it isn't as practical as this cheap quartz battery powered timepiece. If I have any issues it is that the chain supplied is not a watch chain - it is a neck chain, great with a pendant, but won't work with a pocket watch. Search for "Yesmin 1 Pcs Metal Classic Silver Plated Pocket Watch Chain Key Chain 35CM(Silver)" for a more suitable chain that will clip to jeans pockets as well as a waistcoat (I'd stay clear of the T-bar type chains that are dependent on a waistcoat buttonhole).

I wanted a non expensive pocket watch to make a change from my wrist watches in this hot weather. The watch was much better than expected; it looks good and certainly worth more than the price paid. The chain however was a slight disappointment. It does the job but is basically a long pendant chain used double for the watch with a pendant type fastening. A claw fastener and a single chain (basically a watch chain) would have been preferable. Nonetheless I am happy with the purchase.

Great pocket watch, arrived very quickly. Easy to use and set up. Only snag is the chain, no use for waistcoats of which I wear a lot. So, going to have to source a servicible chain so I can actually use it.

I prefer a pocket watch when I am working, and this watch is excellent for the price, I didn’t use the chain that came with it, but the watch is just what I wanted in design and style, very pleased

I've had better things in cheap Christmas crackers. I went to set the time on it, and the winding handle fell off. Cheap and nasty.

Bought for fun to look like a railway worker but it is keeping good time as well.
