Great Product for a Great Price
I have a 2" crack on the top edge of my motorcycle gas tank. I tried RTV. It failed. I tried the regular 2-part epoxy. It failed. Then I tried this fuel leak stopper. It works. Just go straight to this. Be sure to clean the area real good with a wire brush.I think it works best because it is a soft clay, and you can press some into the crack. It sets up hard. After it dried overnight, I painted it black, and all is good.

Not one drop!
I've been dealing with a crack near the bottom of my fuel tank on my 79 Jeep J10 for a long time. I took the fuel down low so the crack would be dry. I cleaned it up with sandpaper and made sure it was dry. At first I thought this product was tough to knead, as it was but it's worth it. At first it seems like it's not bonding but over maybe 1 minute I could tell it was getting stickier and stickier. I got it where I needed it to be and wow was it clearly adhering. Not one drop has leaked through after setting. This is what I'll always use from now on. It shut down a full big crack completely. It is rock solid. Huge fan.

Saved $$$
I was concerned at first because the leak wouldn't stop. The gas tank empty is the best time to apply. Will work with a leak but will take longer. If the hole is less than an inch in diameter, should work. Irregular damaged, like exhaust burn works too.

Waited to leave a review
It has been a month or so since I purchased. To begin with it seemed to uphold, as described and I was impressed with the hardness and that the leakage stopped. For the price it seemed good for the money. Then the cold temperature hit and it and the durability weakened. It actually fell off.I would say good for spring and summer but not if you live somewhere that gets cold weather.

Plastic 22 Gallon Gas Tank on 1987 Dodge Dakota SAVED!!!
This is only my 2nd review out of hundreds of products, ( I do not do reviews good or bad due to CENSORSHIP, therefore I do not waste my time on it, I would review every product if the system was fair, about 90% would have been good reviews but not knowing if it will be censored means no feedback for anyone) , but then a Truly stand out product like this one deserves a shot, whether they censor it or not whether I waste my time or not. I cleaned around the 1 1/2'' crack, roughed up the surface slightly, applied the sealer compound, let it cure 48hrs, then finished with a heavy undercoating spray. NO MORE LEAKS. Oh the 1st review was for the EmberWave watch type device, it works, my wife loves it

Should be labeled as a temporary repair, not a permanent fix.
This product worked great for about 5 days. After that it turned to mush and the leak started again. I wouldn't recommend this product. I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I will buy JB Weld.

Works Great!
Someone drilled a hole in my plastic gas tank to get at my gas. I used this sealant to patch the hole and it has been holding for almost 2 years now. Good stuff!

Repaired gas tank
I had a hole in my gas tank the size of a pencil eraser. I cleaned area carefully with high grit sand paper cleaned with acetone and applied the compound after mixing thoroughly. Then I applied flex seal/ undercoating to ensure no leaking after compound finished drying . All good now I avoided buying gas tank,!!
