Carhartt Loose Fit Midweight Full-Zip Sweatshirt

I had been looking for some new hoodies as the last brand I tried wore out within 6 months while i was working a semi manual job. My research pointed me towards Carhartt's workwear brand and I haven't been disappointed! The quality is evident immediately, with the heavier fabric, metal zip, and high standard stitching and finishing. After going through a low temperature wash I can't see much evidence of shrinkage, and the light grey colour being unaffected. The fit is a little large, I'm six foot two and a little on the bigger side so would usually wear a large in most brands. I've found the medium Carhartt hoodie to be the better fitted for my size, whereas the large hoodie is a much more relaxed fit (perfect for lounging at home). I have high expectations for this from first impressions and am planning to pick up more.

The quality is great and the material is quite warm as it should be with a proper hoodie. I just regret listening to the reviews that mention a huge fit. I normally wear S but have been recently buying medium’s for a more comfortable, relaxed fit. But I bought this in Small after reading the reviews and it fits quite close to my body and isn’t very loose as described in the fitting. So I will be exchanging for a larger size. It’s labelled as loose so people need to make it clear in the reviews that you should only size down if you want a regular fit.

High quality. Snuggly, comfortable, effortlessly stylish, in a casual, chilling-at-home kind of way. Comfortable in warm weather but keeps you warm on a cold evening. Slightly bigger than I expected.

I’m not sure what “heavy weight” means exactly as it wasn’t heavy in weight. I have had heavier hoodies. It is very comfortable, well made and is a great wind stopper that’s for sure. Not used it in the rain so can’t comment on that. But would recommend.

Came up quite large to the point of over generous - but I'm happy with a slouchy sweatshirt anyway so no problem. If I was to buy what I'd intended to buy I'd have gone a size down, but happy either way

Made from good quality fabric, with a decent cut. Cuffs are a little tight but will probably stretch out over time. Purchased for Goth child starting sixth form, it's an instant favourite. I would say true to size (small purchased). Looks stylish and worth the price paid.

Nice top and good value but the sizing comes out v.large. Ordered a medium based on other Carhartt clothing but it was huge especially the length. At least 2 sizes too big for me. Therefore, had to be returned. But a nice top if you're very tall/long.

Having read previous reviews for this garment and all of them cited that the sizing was generous with it. I'm glad I paid attention to this as Large is a perfect fit for me. Fantastic quality garment.

I normally wear a size XL in regular fit, but this sweater was way too big. The zipper was reversed and awkward to close. I also wasn’t very impressed with the quality of the fabric. I ended up returning the sweater — either I was just unlucky, or the quality of Carhartt has really gone downhill.

La sudadera se nota de muy buena calidad desde que la saqué de la bolsa. Es gruesa, pesada y se ve muy resistente. Todavía no la pruebo en frío fuerte, pero por el peso y el material se nota que abriga bastante. Sobre la talla: yo normalmente uso M, pero pedí una S y me quedó perfecta, porque este modelo viene con ajuste relaxed fit (algo amplio). La recomiendo si buscas una sudadera realmente pesada y cálida.
