Will never look at another company for speakers. Sound quality,value, functionality etc are great. This is a company I will trust and that is hard to find

Know what you are buying here: budget, small speakers with thin MDF cabinets. They are not bulletproof. They will not hold a candle to real PA speakers from Peavey or EV nor will they produce sub bass frequencies. However, these work great for what I ask of them in a small room/party setting. They are clear and loud with good crossover frequencies between the drivers. For the curious, the speaker components can be purchased directly from Parts Express. Goldwood is an established economy speaker manufacturer. The models of each component follows: Goldwood GT-1025 horn - $4 Goldwood GW-208 woofer - $20 Goldwood GM-85/8 midrange - $10 That said, for the price, these are a good value (though I did get them on sale from Amazon). One glaring issue (docked one star) - these will NEVER handle 1200 watts. The drivers claim to handle between 60-100 watts RMS (which I'd even be suspicious of). If you attempt to drive these with that powerful of an amp, you will have very expensive paperweights. I'm driving them with a true 50 watt amp, and they sound great. If they come in one piece and you have realistic expectations, you'll be happy.

Love them. Sound good for the money. They are very sleek and nice looking. Like others said they do not produce a lot of bass. You can replace the subwoofers with a higher quality 8 inch subs and you will have a very nice set of speakers.

When I received the product it was basically in shambles. One speaker grill was detached and the other was hanging off and bent back. The woofers on both speakers were not screwed down into the cabinet and were detached from cabinet. My guess is they were used to smuggle something else into the country and they did a shoddy job of putting them back together. Nonetheless, for the price, I put them back together myself and suprisingly they did work....for about a month. I thnk I used them a total of 4-5 times before one of the speakers went out. I feel bad for anyone who paid even close to full price for this junk. I will have to say that the few times they did work that they performed fine as a PA speaker for vocals. Beyond that they were very poor when used to play music or musical instruments. Oh well, you get what you pay for.

Good sounding 3-way stereo speakers for the price. I am pleasantly surprised and more than satisfied.

The woofers and mid-range speakers quit working at low wattage input.

I bought these to put in my patio room and they sound great. I also bought a pair of adjustable tri-pod stands to get them off of the floor and they sound even better.

PA380x - Acoustic Audio PA speakers (pair) These arrived quickly. There were two small defects (a missing plastic cap on one speaker terminal and a slightly chipped side handle on the other unit). They seem efficient - although the power handling capability of 1200 watts max is VERY over-rated. I would think that these would operate very well on 100 watts RMS per channel MAX. Perhaps the vendor should re-think the stated power handling specs. The speakers have a reasonably good 'tone' - considering that the woofers are only 8", the low range is ok. The high frequency 'horns' are effective - although, again...tested on a 100 watt RMS source per channel only. I recommend these for those who need a budget set of PA speakers and don't need a ton of bass. I am using them for a keyboard amplification system. Bottom line is that the housings alone are worth the money. Should the drivers need replacement - I think standard size units could fit, if needed.

My living room stereo

Very reasonable power handling (400watts RMS) Size was my reason for purchase. Sound is very good for their size. (a little short on bass when compared to a 12" or 15") -but works well with an equalizer boost on the lower frequencies.

Good speakers but fabric on them smell like skank! Good sound!

I bought this set of speakers at a really good deal and they arrived quickly. I installed them to my Pyle amplified also bought from Amazon and they work perfectly together. I am really impressed and will recommend them to anyone that is setting up a small system for home or small venue.
