Yes it’s part of the pcv system google it. Just relieves pressure from the crank case. Blow it out with an air hose or clean it with soap and water if not damaged and just blow thru it. I cleaned this hose and the intake breather and throttle body every 20k or so and never had any gasket issues with our Acadia
