Perfect Dish Cloths (Not Towels)
I read the negative reviews before making any purchase, so I was reluctant to buy these. But, I'm so glad I did because I find these to absorb just fine, wipe down counters with ease, but most of all my dishes come out clean with little effort. I even use off brand bleach in my water and had no fading as of yet. Minus 1 star for being an inch shorter than advertised, but I actually like 11x11.Btw, I normally don't put my dish cloths in the washer and dryer so I don't know about the the cloths being all wrinkled (but they are 100% cotton). Just wash them out in the sink and lay flat to dry...simple. This is a good deal for these and I'm purchading another set.

Kitchen wash rags
I got through a lot of them. When they get super stained I throw them away.,perfect size as I hate super big rags

Finally Found Them!
I'd been looking for the perfect blend of cotton in a cute red plaid (checkered? gingham?) pattern in a wash rag for what seemed like forever. These do exactly what is described: absorb and wring out perfectly. Now... the instructions say to wash these in cold water and use no bleach because the color will fade. Uh.... no. For what I use them for these need to be washed in hot water with some bleach. I prewashed them doing just that -- with only them in the wash cycle -- a couple of times using just a little bit of bleach. They came out fine and now I know they won't bleed (and they haven't) when I wash them in hot water with a little bleach with other things I need to wash in that particular cycle to get everything disinfected. The color's held up fine for my tastes, too.

Seems ok, a little off white
They appear well made (made in Pakistan). the edges appear secure. Haven't washed them yet. Only complaint I'd have is they aren't pure white. They look like something that was white but then thrown in the wash with colored clothing. They are white enough, but not a pure white that would have been more pleasing to the eye (see pic, color comparison to something I consider pure white)

I live dishtowels
And I was raised using cloth napkins. Which was fine when we had dinner at home twice a week. But now that we eat every meal in we needed a better solution, I mean a solution that does not need to be ironed. SO we keep a stack and use them in place of cloth napkins. And of course, since they are there they wipe up spills, and act as pan pushers. Are they as absorbent as a good dish cloth? no, but then again, they are fine and they are easier. I don't fold them after laundering ( which it seems I do 4 times a week now) so that is a time saver. I have 3 sets. I like the blue better than the red and the large checks better than the small.
