Allen Company Single Handgun Case – Assorted Earth Tones, Fits Pistols

Well made, sizing was accurate and fit the pistol’s perfectly. Nice item for the price.

Bought the 6" and the 11" should have purchased 13". The 6" is almost too small for the NAA 22mag and the 11" is too small for my Glock 43 with an extended mag. However the cases are well padded and well made with a heavy Codura type material.

Ok, right off the bat, Allen makes a great soft case and the ones I purchased were extremely well-made:) Allen offers these ones in 6”, 8”, 11” and 13” and they come in a variety of colors, though they mention in the description that the color you get will be random. I only bought the 8” and 11” ones, so I have no data about the 6” or 13” ones beyond feeling safe in assuming they are also well-made:)Now for the size information I managed to gather; buckle in, though, because it is ALL over the place, lol. Ok, here goes!!!The 8” ones: I bought 3 of the 8” soft pistol cases (to ensure a decent chance of receiving a good sampling of colors;). They are sometimes called “gun rugs,” but in these listings they are referred to as “6-13 inch soft pistol cases.” In the “Details” section of the 8” one it reads 9.5 x 1 x 5.5 inches; under “Product information” it reads both 9.06 x 7.09 x 1.14 inches AND ‎9.5 x 1 x 5.5 inches; and under “Features and details” it states the inside dimensions as 7.75"L x 4.75"H. Needless to say, it’s exceedingly confusing and more than a little frustrating trying to figure out what size each of the various soft pistol cases actually IS:) But here are the actual measurements and what firearms I think would fit nicely inside of them:) Of the three I purchased, the actual outside dimensions were a very consistent 9” by just a hair under 5.5”. For the inside dimensions I measured the padded portion because that’s the part that would make contact with the surfaces of any pistol put inside of them; inside dimensions were a very consistent 8” by 5”. A Sig Sauer P365 with either a flush fit 10 rd. mag or the 10 rd. mag with pinky extension will fit perfectly; with the 12 round mag, however, I could not get the zipper to close; do with that information what you will:)Now, on to the 11” soft pistol cases!!! Under the “Details” section it reads 12 x 1 x 6.5 inches; under “Product information” it reads both 12 x 1 x 6.5 inches AND 12.2 x 6.77 x 1.42 inches; and under “Features and details” it only says “fits 11-inch handguns” and includes no inside dimensions, but here’s what I directly measured: Of the three I purchased, the outside dimensions were a very consistent 12” by just under 6.75” and for the inside dimensions I, again, measured the padded portion; inside dimensions were a very consistent 11” by just a hair under 6” and would accommodate an M1911 A1 with standard 7 rd. magazine perfectly:) Even with the lanyard loop;)That’s what I discovered:) There are several gun size comparison websites out there where you could very easily type in either of the above mentioned firearms and compare their dimensions to whatever you might need a soft pistol case for:) Hope this is helpful!!!

The color I received is the khaki w/brown trim and it's quite nice. Good construction, well padded, and fits my M&P 4" snugly. Minor design flaw with the rivet at one end, which prevents the bag from being unzippered all the way and thus cannot be completely splayed out flat. Otherwise, happy with this purchase!

They came protected in a plastic bag, good quality, My Sig will appreciate it !

The pistol cases are better than most for the price; but having ordered six, you have ZERO control over the color. You get what you get. I received five black and one brown. If you want different colors to match different pistols, pick a different case.
