As can be seen in the photo I start a little above the door handle and go downward. This is thicker, more heavy duty, than the normal US product I use, but it is so far of a higher quality and a better door edge protector. It goes on very easy and can be (slightly) repositioned very easily AT FIRST! After an hour or so you just need to rip off, clean the area and reapply the product. It will adhere that well.It is hardly noticeable outdoors on a sunny day (or any other time) so far. No yellowing or discoloration.

This adhesive is good for protecting car interior from scratching. Application is easy and adhesive quality is great. It leaves no residue if I want to take it off. It makes the interior look great. For the price, this is a good investment to protect my car.

Really thick, plasticky, shiny, and not sticky. Overall, it does the job for my Rivian R1S door sills.

Great product great protection

The tape had bubbles in it from the adhesive. I had to waste a lot of it trying to find a 12" piece that didn't have bubbles in it. The bubbles and imperfections show when the tape is installed and can't be pressed out. The tape comes without backing which is what is causing the issue. Also, the sides of the tape don't have backing so it sticks to everything and picks up dirt on the edges. I wouldn't recommend it. I threw it in the trash.

I bough the 0.8" product to install on my new car doors edges.You will need a little practice to install. Looks ok, but it does not look as prefect as my other car door edges that the dealer installed for few hundred dollars, but for the money you can't go wrong.
