My wife was very pleasantly surprised by the comfort of these elbow pads. There is no "break in" period with these. They are comfortable from the get-go and you quickly forget you are wearing them. Even in 90-degree heat, we have found them to not make too much of a difference in how hot we feel. They are extremely light weight and conform very well to the body. We have noticed they do get small tears in the fabric after 5-6 months, wearing them 3-4 times a week and machine washing and air drying after every other use.Overall, we are very happy with the results. We are mountain bikers, so have had plenty of falls and have remained protected from gnarly scratches and bruising so far! Highly recommend!

I put them on in the parking lot to go mountain biking and I was amazed at how light and comfortable they are. I proceeded to fall over the handle bars about 10minutes into my ride, got up and was surprisingly ok, I went over the bars and landed hard on the pads but they did a great job. I have started to wear them on regular road rides and sometimes I forget I have them on

I used knee amd hip pads from the same brand and loved them for years. I decided to get elbow pads but the grip material around the upper arm is falling apart. Starting to look like boogers. I am sending them back for a replacement. If the new ones are good, I'll update to 5 stars.Update: replacement grip is in great condition and it fits perfectly. 5 🌟

Bought these to match the knee pads.The sleeve and pads are very comfortable, not to bulky.Fit was good make sure to measure yourselfOnly 4 stars because I did not fall to test out the padding and hardening on impact.When I fall will update

I bought this because they are a sponsor of Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park in Cleveland Ohio, well that and I really needed a pair of elbow protection.They have excellent protection. Bummer that I know after wearing them just once...but...They are light and breath well. They stay in place and when you really need them, they will protect you well from the walls and floors at Rays and they take a amazing amount of abuse with barely showing any signs of impact or use.

These are great. They take a little while to get used to how tight and fitting they are but then you forget they are there. I keep feeling like I should adjust them over time, but they stay in place perfectly. They are very tough. With the design you could slam your elbow in to rocks, or a brick wall and feel nothing. They help build confidence, which is why I got them, but definitely the best protection I could imagine. Extremely low profile which is why I chose them because I don't want anything bulky. They are comfortable.

I'm 6'3" and 275 lbs, according to the measurement scale I ordered a XX-Large. They fit rather good, albeit a little tight in the bicep area. nice pads that can be worn under a long sleeve shirt if need be. I started longboarding in my late 30's, so I figured it is better to be safe than sorry.

We ordered this set of elbow pads, and though they are both marked “Youth S/M” they aren’t the same size. Otherwise good quality. We will return.
