Fate (Fate #1) review
This highly anticipated new book is a great kick start to a new series by Reyes. I LOVE that the Moreno family line is carrying on in this spin off series from the Moreno Brother series. If you have not read the Moreno Brothers series first...then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?This family is such a highly entertaining, funny, overbearing, bossy/possessive, loving and a caring group of characters that it makes me want to be a a Moreno myself. If ever there were a book family, with extended relatives, that I would ever want to belong to, it would be the Moreno's. You really need to read the Moreno Brothers series before reading Fate to really fully get and appreciate the family dynamics. What I love about Fate:1. Rose & Vince2. The entire Moreno clan & pseudo family members3. Flipping between Now & Then time periods4. The cover of this book... LOVE LOVE LOVE it5. Vince is a military man (I love books that involve the military being as I grew up an Army Brat myself)6. Bra w/Mom convo7. The Reunion8. Lorenzo AKA: Enzo9. The epilogue -This family just cracks me up during this. "I don't do cheese but this family is relentless."About the book:We first meet Rose and Vincent in Making You Mine as they meet at a Moreno family baby shower. They are both in high school and start a relationship over one summer. Their story is a side story in that book. In Fate we get to see parts of that story and how it went after Making You Mine ended. Rose and Vincent's relationship has never been easy. Vincent lives 2 hours away and follows the rest of the Moreno men in the traits of jealousy and being possessive. lolHe's working out a way to be with Rose in the same city when things go down hill for him and all of a sudden he finds himself in the Army. Rose works for the Moreno family business and is off to college to play soccer. Which she is awesome at. Her and Vincent go through a long trial and they both are trying to over come the heartache and struggles that come their way because of this. At some point in the story Enzo becomes a good friend and confidant to Rose, which I loved, as Rose finally figures some things out and what to do next. (He turns out to be such a great guy.) Also during that time something happens with Vince, as the family is on pins and needles awaiting answers, he uses the memories of Rose to fight his way back to her... to where they both belong, with each other.I loved this book. I cried in the prologue, the epilogue and parts in between.

World of Books reviews
I never doubted that this book wouldn't be as amazing as all her other books, not even for a minute. But I was still surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. It seems each book she writes gets better then the last! When I heard there was going to be a spin off to the Moreno Brothers series I was so happy. I followed her blog, twitter and Facebook page on a daily basis just waiting for more teasers and news about when it would come out. And when she finally gave the news that it was out, I screamed and quickly bought it. And then for some reason, I didn't read it as soon as I thought I would. It's not because I didn't think I would enjoy it but because I knew it wouldn't last. I waited so long for this book and I realized that when I finished Fated, I would have to wait another year for the next book. So I tried to savor the book, I tried to wait a little while till I read it. It only lasted about three days and then I gave in. And while I still have to wait a year for the next book I'm so happy I read the book now.Rose and Vincent were minor characters in the last book in the Moreno Brothers series. In that book they were friends but we didn't really get to know what was going on between them. I was always curious about them so I was so happy we got to read their story first in the new series. Rose is exactly how I pictured she would be. She's so sweet, innocent, and a really selfless person. It was great to see things from her perspective especially when it mentioned certain things from the previous book. And Vincent is so misunderstood it's not even funny. Everybody writes him off as the trouble making kid who's always disappointing his family when almost 98% of the time he didn't even do anything. From the first page, I was in love with this book. I couldn't put my kindle down the moment I started and after finishing the book I felt so happy and giddy with how things turned out. Fate has some steamy moments that I 'm STILL thinking about, made me laugh, and even made me tear up a bit. And it was great to see the Moreno Brothers in this book, even if it was only for a little bit. If you haven't read the Moreno Brothers series I highly recommend you check it out. You don't have to read it to read this series though, but I don't think you want to miss out on an awesome series right?

Good read
Another great read by this author regarding the Mereno fami!y. Rosie is the sister of Grace who is married to Sal Mereno. Sal is the uncle of Vincent who met Rosie at a family gathering. Vincent held the same feeling as all the Mereno family being family came first. Vincent used to have a troubled youth and due to Vincent being in the wrong place at the wrong time, which caused a great family disruption.

Loved It!
What a fantastic read! I have read loads of Elizabeth Reyes's books and they just keep getting better and better. I haven't read one that i haven't loved. I love the Monero family and the big tough, look out for their family type guys the Monero family have to offer. Vince is the bad boy. Dealing drugs, getting into fights and basically getting in to too much trouble. It's all he has ever known but he wants to be better as his mum and dad are at the end of their tether. He finds his inspiration when he meets Rose. I do love Rose. She's the innocent, never done anything wrong type of girl. She always seems like she is too good for Vince but their is an instant love at first sight for these two young ones. It is not smooth sailing for these two and a few times i thought they were going to not be able to find their way back to each other. It kept me gripped and i found it rather funny at times. The Monero men are quite funny at times. It won't be the last book i read by Elizabeth Reyes. Brilliant and a definite must read!

Fate
So, Vincent and Rose. . .I loved it. The whole army thing was a new addition to the Moreno world and, once again, the glimpses back into the rest of the family is a real treat.I really liked the way the army stuff was played out and it was upsetting and I found myself needing to know what was coming next with it. Vincent is a fantastic character, I love him as much as I love Romero!! Angry, defiant, and a sweetheart. The reason I only gave it four stars, I wish that there had been some extra thing for Will and Missy-Anne. I wish that Vincent had contacted her to tell her how much Will loved her and wanted to marry her. Even if only a couple of sentences at the end, I wish we'd have been given a bit of closure on that, because, wow, that was a really upsetting moment, especially with Vincent's reaction.Another awesome book from Elizabeth Reyes though and look forward to seeing who's next to get their story told in this new series!!

A MUST READ
This is Vince and Rose's story who first got together in Making You Mine (The Moreno Brothers) this is the first in a new series. A spin off from the Moreno Brothers. This story is told from both Vince and Rose's POV, and switches between the past and present. Which the author does beautifully by the way.Their story is what I would call a romance against all the odds. Passionate and romantic, the reader is swept along by the events that move the story forward. Vince is a hot guy, not just in looks but he has a bit of a short fuse as well. But he is totally adorable. Rose is just a joy a loyal and sensitive girl. There is a substantial plot here. With realistic events and emotions. Even though this is a older YA book. It transcends across age gaps IMO, older readers will also find this a stonking good read. I can only urge you to give this a go. You won't be disappointed. Making You Mine (The Moreno Brothers)

Fate
An excellent start to another series by this talented author. This time we have Rose who falls for Vincent Moreno. He is a cousin of the Moreno Brothers and comes across as a bad boy. She is the sister of Grace from Making You Mine book. There are many ups and downs to their story but I was invested in them and so wanted them to succeed together. It is emotional at times especially when he deployed but there are also funny parts and you get to see how all the characters from the other series are doing.
