The clock ships with a battery case cover that is difficult to remove. I was worried that I was going to break the movement mechanism trying to get the thing off. Once I put the battery in, I threw the case cover in the garbage. LOVE the continuous sweep hand movement and how quiet the clock is. It looks really nice too. Well worth the money that I paid for it.

Well, I loved the look of the clock. Unfortunately, this clock was for in our camper. Obviously, not able to withstand the traveling as it started acting strange..stopped running, to start up again. I changed battery before we headed out again this summer so was concerned that it was not working...4 weeks parked in campground. So husband took a look...removed battery cover and the workings just kinda flew out of it...cogs and wheels going everywhere. So...we need a new clock. This clock was very pretty, but like I said, couldn't handle the traveling. It was fastened very well to wall. It is now 2023...so it was actually in use from summer of 2020 until now. It was listed as indoor/outdoor, so I thought it would be studier I suppose.

I really like my 3 (INTERNATIONAL) atomic clocks. My bedroom wall clock today on November 10, 2021 8AM is just now spinning its second's hand to adjust to daylight savings time which began 2AM Nov. 7. I'm guessing because it's not near a window facing west. It's taking longer. not sure. I've just adjusted to it being one hour off. I looked up and saw it's seconds hand moving towards the correct time. I can also set it manually, but it wasn't urgent. Glad I waited. I love these clocks. No electric cords. No problem with power outages. Accurate time. Who could ask for more?

The first one I ordered didn't work properly. I asked for an exchange instead of refund, very painless process. The second one came in and has worked great so far. They are beautiful clocks and exactly what I was looking for. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one. If all goes well, it is definitely worth the money.

Although one might assume that you simply put an appropriate battery into the clock to start it, this particular clock came with absolutely NO directions and, therefore, it was not at all apparent how to install the battery. The clock is sealed against the weather, so the "cover" that encloses the clock mechanism and battery compartment fits very tightly and is embedded into the back structure. I was very loathe to "force" the plastic covering out, and decided to unscrew the face. Finally, with the clock disassembled, it became apparent that the very tight fitting cover had to be pried off...a little sticker saying "gently remove this cover" would have been very helpful.

I bought this item for use in an outbuilding. The building is dry and secure but not climate controlled. The face of the clock is made of paper and apparently the changing humidity caused the paper to swell causing the second hand to collide with, ironically enough, the humidity pointer. I disassembled the clock twice and made slight adjustments but the problems continued. I'm sure it would have been fine in a heated and air conditioned space but failed completely in my application.

For an inexpensive wall clock, it's really quite stylish. It keeps time very well. And also shows humidity and temperature. Worth the price.

We needed a bathroom clock when the previous piece died because of a corroded battery.The battery compartment on this clock isn't sealed with a gasket but it is a tight clip-on. In fact, it took me several minutes to realize that's what it was and that it was okay to pull on the mechanism cover. A flyer to that effect would've been helpful.All three functions are working fine but only time will tell if it holds up to the humidity.Looks and design are excellent for the affordable price. If it can last for at least 12 months I'll consider it having fulfilled my expectations; the longer the better!

We bought it and installed it above the back entrance door of our house, underneath the roof. I actually dropped it from the top of the ladder when installing it. I was sure that would be the end of it but, no, it survived without even a kink, and still works after 3 months. We plan to bring it in for the winter, so won't test its resistance to cold. The thermometer dial is tiny, making it hard to read where the clock is, but we didn't buy the clock for this function, so we don't care.

Loved it until it magically stopped working

Thermometer simply doesn’t work. This will in no way tell you the humidity, except to tell you there might be one, and it’s ninety percent. The clock will, work—if you DO NOT follow instructions. And this is interesting. When reading about it in Amazon’s catalogue, it tells you to use high carbon batteries. They are not available at your neighbourhood convenience store, so I ordered them from Amazon. But when I received the product I notice that embossed in the battery compartment it says “use only alkaline batteries”. After one day—in outdoor December mid-Canadian weather it stopped working. However, with high carbon batteries, and ignoring the other gauges, and not minding the fogged and frosted glass (use this as a detection of humidity!) the Outdoor Clock seems to be worth a star above bottom level. (I have placed it on a board with another thermometer beside my outdoor hot tub.)

This clock can not lie flat against the wall. It stop working. If not on an angle, it stop working. Purchased in December 2020. I am now tired of finding the right angle to make it work. Do not buy. July 2021.
