The item was as described and the delivery was very fast. I've been using the new batteries for several weeks now so I feel I can write an accurate and fair review. Threre are 2 minor draw backs with these batteries. First and foremost an error message will pop up after about 30 seconds from when you turn the camera on. Since these are not OEM batteries just make sure to turn your camera on a minute or so BEFORE you think you may want to record. This will allow time for the error message to pop up and be clreared before you need to shoot. All you have to do to get past this error is to hit the OK when it asks if you want to continue. The only other draw back is the battery meter does not work to let you know how charged the battery is. Other than that everything works great. I've been using them outside in extreme cold (yesterday it was 4 degrees F at Wildcat Mt. in NH) to video my daughter as she ski races. The OEM battery didn't have a very good life span and would maybe make it through her first run before it died in the cold. I've been able to use one battery to make it through the day of recording. Granted, it's probably only about 15 minutes of record time on any given day but taking into acount the temperature it does WAY better than the OEM that came with the cameral. Since there are two batteries included I always keep the extra charged and in a warm pocket in the event I need to swap out while on the hill. The charger that comes with it also works with the OEM battery. All in all, I think it's agreat deal with just the minor non-OEM issues noted above.

have use this on vixia M50. EACH battery give me around 2.30 hour recording time (have tested this couple of times, but not a lot of zoom in/out during the recording, probably less with a lot of lens movement) with max quality setting (MXP) HD 1080i 24MBps. have tried this on lower LP/SP quality and give me around the same length of recording time. has issue with the wall charger at first as need more than 8-10 hours to charge full (green) from totally empty battery. contact the seller (blue nook) and after some charging test with the original battery that come with the cam, the charger identified to be a dud. the seller immediately send replacement, and all works well after (the BP-727 battery charged full around 6 hours from totally empty condition). the charger is rated at 500mah, hence if the output for the charger is correct at that level and fully charged for 6 hours, the battery approx has capacity of 3000mAh (which is stated 2900mAh on the sticker). Have not test on using the included car charger though, as no long car trip yet. as what the description says, you won't know how long the battery will last. but as it take longer time able to record compare to stock battery, this is no longer a problem to me. also as mention on other review, upon cold start, the cam prompt user that it can't communicate with the battery and user have to click Yes in order to be able to record with this battery. so to reduce this hassle (not able to record quickly from the cold start), i will just standby the cam (closing the LCD on the recording mode), and open the LCD to activate back when i need to record right away (really fast from standby to ready to record). this will not give you the warning prompt as what the cam did when the cold start and allow me to frequently record/standby the camcorder to save the battery (you may need to set the power off timer on the camcorder when in the standby mode, M50 has default of 10 minutes). highly recommended considering the price ... !!! best customer service from the seller ... thumbs up for blue nook ... !!! I bought one set a few months ago and like the way they fit the camera and how long they last. I haven't timed them, sorry, but they seem to last a reasonable amount of time to me and I tend to be a little nit pickey. It takes around 4 hours to fully recharge after depletion. What can I say? - I bought one set a few months ago and because I liked them I bought another set because I want to be able to shoot for more than a few hours while taking walks in the woods before having to re-charge. The chargers are compact. The A.C. connetors retract and make the chargers pack compactly and there won't be metal sticking into things beside the chargers. There's a European adapter included with each set and although I'll probably never need them its a nice touch to have them. I really appreciate the 12v automobile charger because I'm usually not too far from my vehicle. When a battery is depleted the charger shows orange, yellow or red and when fully charged the same indicator turns to green. The bayyery doesn't give the camera screen a running count of battery life left, but the camera still tells me when its time to recharge. You'll have only a few minutes left to record when the notification comes up, so act accordingly. But the main thing to me is the camera will NOT just stop recording with no notice. You do have to keep your eyes on the on screen battery life indicator. Would I buy another set? YEP, sure would.

I ordered this product for my Canon camera. Everything was as described. Only issues were that both batteries will not communicate with camera so there is no way to see the battery life. I can understand this since it is not a Canon product. One battery would not stay connected to the camera causing the camera to shut off, but the other battery stays in place. The charging dock has given me no issues. Perhaps I just got one bad battery.

I am one hundred percent satisfied with this battery kit. I have a Canon Vixia R42 HD camcorder. It came with a standart BP-718 battery pack which lasts 102 minutes. I tried the Wasabi Power Battery Kit with my Canon camcorder. It lasted two full hours non-stop. The charger charged the battery pack in less than two hours. There is a led indicator. When charging the led is red. When the charging is complete, the led turns green. Neither the charger not the battery pack overheats during charging. The battery pack does not overheat when using with the camera, either. The quality of the material used in the charger and the battery packs is more than satisfactory. On the label of the battery pack says the cells are from Japon although the packs are manufactured in China. Overall I highly recommend this kit anyone who needs extra power for their compatible camcorders.

This kit works very well , charger does good job quickly. but there is no way to figure out charge level in battery packs. I though there would be a led indicator (like there is on just about everything nowadays) but no. This would be a 3 star review but price of the kit is well worth a reward for a 4th. if there was just a simple red led that lights up when at 10 or 15 % charge it would be a 5 star product.

I purchased these batteries and they arrived actually a day earlier than was listed as the delivery date. Both batteries work great and I can't be happier with the value for money. With these 2 batteries you don't even use the standard battery provided because you end up just swapping between the two and charging the dead one at night. Bought them for a trip to Europe and it was so nice to have a European adapter already provided. The charger as well is more practical to use as the default charger as it does charge both these batteries and the canon battery, as well as show when the charge is complete. Only negative, when you do power on the camcorder, you have a wait a couple of seconds for a screen to appear stating he battery isn't compatible but click to continue and everything works great and you can start filming. If you just close the screen and enter the "sleep" mode, when you open it again you don't have to go through the battery screen notification again. As I stated earlier, EXCELLENT VALUE!
