Dickies Men's Big Short-Sleeve Pique Polo Shirt

These shirts are really nice. The Dickey's men's big short sleeve polo shirt is a really nice shirt for the price. I purchased this initially for someone close to me, and he liked it so much that I just got him another one for Christmas. I got him the black. The black is a nice deep black. It looks good on and is not a slim or tapered fit. So if you're a little big around the middle no problem. The size runs good and like I said if you're a little big around the middle no problem. Just take your measurements around your chest and your belly before buying. The material is really nice too. It is breathable and I would call it a medium weight. It's not going to be really warm and it's not going to be really cool. The quality of the material is very good. It has metal buttons which he really liked. And the style is flattering too. The quality, comfort and color are all good. After washing, there has been no shrinkage or color fading. Both arrived in tip top shape with no damage of any kind. I love pique, because it breathes well and keeps you cooler in the heat of summer. This shirt is made of a nice weight of pique - not too heavy or too thin. It seems to be well-made, and the colors are nice and rich. It has a three-button placket - not my first choice, but it gives you a nice big neck opening. And the color-matched buttons look like something you'd see on more-expensive clothing. Another thing I like about these shirts is that they have long tails, so you're not showing your plumber's crack every time you bend over. The sleeves are also generous in length, so you don't look like you're wearing your little brother's shirts. Fit seems about right, a tiny bit on the slender side but not tight on robust guys like me. My only negative is that the binding on the ends of the sleeves is a bit snug. I don't have big biceps, but for guys who do, this might be annoying. I love that there are still sources of nice, well-made shirts that don't cost an arm and a leg. You may not have that fashion logo on your chest, but you saved 50 bucks by buying this shirt.

Nice shirt but received wrong size ☹️

I have purchased two of these shirts in size 3XL. I am 6'5" w/ a 40 inch waist and have broad shoulders. These Dickies shirts look like they were made specifically for me. They are longer than any 3XLT shirt that I own, but not too long. And these Dickies shirts are not 3XLT, they are just 3XL. It is so refreshing to be able to keep a shirt tucked in all day and not have to constantly re-tuck my shirt every time I lean down, reach up, stretch my back, tie my shoes, get out of my truck, sneeze,etc, etc. Every tall guy out there knows exactly what I am talking about. And the sleeve length is perfect for me too. Unlike most polo shirts for a guy my height, these Dickie polos do not have "short" sleeves that extend ridiculously below my elbows. Instead, these Dickie polo shirts actually have short sleeves! Yes, the sleeves are a little tight at the end, but I find that actually makes the shirt feel a little more comfortable to me as it allows me to push the sleeves up a little into a more comfortable position and they actually stay there. I put these shirts in the dryer on low heat and they didn't shrink much at all. They maybe lost an inch in length and there was no noticeable difference in fit after several runs thru the dryer. I normally wear a 3XLT in most shirts these days, although I have several twenty year old shirts in sizes XLT and 2XLT that are larger than most 3XLT's that are sold today. I can confidently say that I could probably wear a 2XL in these Dickies polo shirts. But, I will stick with the 3XL size because I can move freely in the shirt without having to re-tuck after every move I make. I honestly think I could split firewood in this shirt without it coming untucked. These shirts are perfect for a tall guy. I had to laugh when I was doing this review and I had to pick "How does this product fit?" My choices were "Too Small," Fit as expected," and "Too large." The shirts fit me perfect which is not what I expected. They weren't too small or too large. I expected to get a shirt that was too short and had ridiculously long sleeves. Instead, I actually received a couple shirts that fit me.

loose fit but why is it so darn hot to wear it in the summer?! It's comfortable because work space is cool, but step outside in the hot summer heat is just intorelable in this shirt. Love and hate it at the same time.

I got these for a photoshoot for my sons and they met my expectations! They are very good quality and comfortable for them to wear!

Purchased this as one of three brands of polo shirt to have embroidered and wear test wear for fading and durability. Ended up not going forward with the overall project but have continued to wear this and the other two shirts on occasion. This one, IMHO is the best quality and most comfort of the three and has not noticeably faded but has not been worn and washed terribly often. Still, if you're looking for a plain black polo at a decent price to embroider for whatever, Dickies is a good choice.
