STARBUCKS Espresso Roast, Dark Roast, Whole Bean Coffee 200g (Pack of 6)

This was a repeat order which arrived on time in good condition. I have not yet started on this batch but have no reason to believe it will not be as excellent as always.

Love this coffee, works great in my bean to cup coffee machine, been using these for years.

I have had these beans on subscription for a long time with no complaints. They have a great flavour and were a god price. This month i found my next delivery had been put up by over £10. It's a ridiculous price rise and I have now cancelled and will buy elsewhere.

Really nice tasting coffee.I mix it with either Devils Roast or Skullcrusher ( or one of the other stronger brands).

I have been using this for an old De Longhi coffeee machine without an issue and the coffee strength and flavour are great.Now I have a Jura coffee machine and they specifically state that I should not use oliy beans which these are, so I have stopped buying them. Apparently the oily beans could gum up the grinder. Its a shame as other non-oily beans taste weak by comparison.

Product review: STARBUCKS Espresso Roast Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee, 200 g (Pack of 6)I grind beans with Krups grinder and then use coffee with my Melitta LOOK Therm filter coffee machine.I consider myself quite a hobbyist when it comes to coffee (not quite a connoisseur yet) and occasionally I buy beans from local Belfast roasters (SD Bells) but they are quite expensive so not my typical everyday coffee, just special occasions.As grocery prices go ridiculously high (and Sainsbury's increased this Starbucks from already high £3.40 in Dec '22 to £4.40 in Jan '23, so goodbye Sainsbury's) , I am always on the lookout for good coffee at reasonable price.I am truly in love with this Starbucks Dark Roast but I always mix my beans - sometimes with Lavazza and sometimes with other newly discovered brands. And I can always taste the distinctive kick form Starbucks in the finished cup.One last comment for the price: I have added this product to my wishlist when it was priced at £20+ (can't remember exactly) and my recommendation is do NOT buy this if it's priced at more than £18 because it's simply OVERPRICED at that level, nothing to do with quality. Keep it in your wishlist or subscribe to get extra discounts.In the end, it's a lovely coffee full of strength and aroma and I will always come back to it.

Have had this on subscription for nearly a year with 6 deliveries in that time, have loved the coffee with its smooth dark roast flavour (it’s a real favourite). The issue is that for 10 months the price has been a static £23 per delivery of 6, out of nowhere the price for the next delivery has shot up to £36! Not sure how this is justified, a pack of 250g of coffee doesn’t just go up overnight by £2. I will source elsewhere and hopefully will continue to drink this great blend, just not at this price! A footnote to this review is that the price is now at £52 for 6 which is 130% price rise in 2 months.
