I like the size of the pad and the work it saves me.

I like the comfort and size of the pads. They are a great value for the money I have to spend. I typically order between 40 to 100 at a time.I do wish that they were a little more absorbent. Often times, I find a lot of urine underneath the pad. So, I have to clean the floor after each use and let it dry.The benefits definitely outweigh the cost of this product. Since nothing is perfect these pads get a 4. I have used several different pads for my puppy -who is 5 years old - and these are the most absorbent I have found. My "pup" is a 5 year old shih tzu - and I live in the country, in a cold and snowy state, so he stays in the house in winter. He has used pads since he was 8 weeks old. The first ones were the "scented" ones that helped him find them. Now he just uses these and I'm so happy he does - not having to take him outside when it is 30 below zero or when the snow is up to your knees is a blessing.If you're starting out a little puppy get a bag of the scented ones, a smaller size, and put one on one of these pads, by the time you are done with the bag of scented ones you could switch just to these. Puppy will know where his/her spot is.Other uses I have found - a place to put wet or muddy boots/shoes - using as a bib for young kids when they are eating something messy, they are big enough to tuck into a shirt neck and still cover their laps - under planters and when starting seeds in spring so nothing leaks out onto table or window seat - putting under the oil pan when you change your car oil so it doesn't spill over onto driveway surface.So yes, I highly recommend these pads..... even for puppys

I have used many pads in the past but none of them like the prevail. I use it for my dogs and the urine does not go though the pad.

I order the 30 x 30 inch underpads on a regular basis with Amazon through regular reordering. However the 30 x 36 inch underpads I order through Amazon as needed. I can usually find them on Amazon and get them delivered fro free especially with my Prime membership. My orders usually arrive in good time especially the automatic regular orders through Amazon. I like the PINK Prevail underpads the best. They absorbe the best over the blue or green underpads. I use my underpads because I have 8 little Chihuahua and a toy poodle and a ShihTzu (sp?). They are all trained to go to the underpads. These little dogs won't go outside if the weather is bad and they won't hold it all night till morning so I have to keep these underpads down in certain areas for them to potty on.You know these are great if you ever spill something that requires something to soak up a lot of liquid at once. So say I spill a whole glass of water, I can grab one of these pads and soak up the whole mess before it spreads all over. I also use these pads to protect tables I am working on. I have also used them to line the base of an open window in the summer, so I can leave a window open a bit and if it rains the pad will soak up the rain and keep it from dripping inside.

No mention of the bottom being plastic. These ones always make my butt sweat and that is very uncomfortable to me.

I ordered a ton of these pads anticipating their use during childbirth, however, I didn't use them at all then. Instead, I use them as clean, portable, disposable pads on which to change my infant daughter's diapers when away from home. They come folded up, nice and compact, so I keep a couple in the diaper bag at all times. I have changed her using these pads at grandma's house, in the lawyer's office, at her pediatrician's, in the car, and all manner of places. Anywhere there's a table, bed, or flat surface, with these pads I can change her and not worry about soiling the surface beneath, because even in the event something happens after the soiled diaper is off but before the new clean diaper is on, the pads are super absorbent. I can even change her on the floor despite being germphobic, because of the layer of plastic and padding between her and the floor, and the pads are large enough that she can't flail out with her little arms and legs to touch it. And you can just fold up the pad around the soiled diaper and throw the whole thing away afterward. I am so glad I bought these.

Almost no accidents at all. I can now sleep well with no worries about ruining my mattress.
