Brings us peace of mind!
We decided to get this because we were traveling last month and had a blowout...but we didn't even know it! Had it not been for a passerby on the interstate that flagged us down, we may never have known until severe damage was done to our rig. (Fortunately, everything was fine.) We've been RVing (with a travel trailer) at least twice a month for almost 4 years now and had never had a blowout before this incident. That was a wakeup call for us and I started doing research on TPMS units as soon as I climbed back into the truck after we changed said blown tire. The reviews, features, and price of this one impressed us most, and so far we've been very happy. We've only had it for less than two weeks now but we just returned from using it in a 400-mile round-trip...through Florida storms. It worked flawlessly, despite interstate speeds, high heat and humidity, and crazy downpours. It cycles frequently, so it's very comforting to be able to view the pressure and temperature changes in real time. We tow a 29-foot TT with a crew-cab Ram Laramie and there was never a hiccup in reception. Even after we initially set it up (which was EXTREMELY easy to do) we were able to bring the unit into our house and view the tire pressures and temperatures from inside our concrete-block house from at least 50 feet away from the rig. We're definitely recommending it to our friends. Speaking of friends, one of our RVing friends purchased an entirely different brand of TPMS unit about 2 years ago and paid at least twice as much. After seeing ours and researching it himself, he feels like he was taken and believes we got the better-quality item, despite the price difference.

If you tow a trailer, you need this system!
Dislikes: Anti-theft would barely be a deterrent. Spin on covers can be spun off by hand and the transmitter then removed. No tooling needed. If there was a small screw / pin that could only be removed / installed while the transmitter was off the stem, that would be ideal for security, but would add to weight and likely size, and make it harder to install without bleeding off pressure. I am not concerned about the theft of them, but thought this should be known. Likes: Easy set up; linking transmitters to reader, setting pressure and temperature limits. I loved the knowledge that I was able to "see" what was happening behind me the entire 4700 miles on a trip I was just on. While at a rest area, I showed my system to a fellow RV'r who was changing a flat that was completely shredded. Luckily for him there was no trailer damage, but I was surprised there was not at the condition of the remains. I do not know if his rim was useable, but it might not have been. On my return trip home, I had 2 flats on my trailer, in two consecutive days. The first flat my EezTire display started beeping and indicated a rapid pressure loss. I pulled over and there was still air in the tire, coming out. Extremely short time that the 2nd tire on that side had to shoulder the whole load of half of the trailer weight. Was able to install the spare, move the transmitter to the spare and monitor it and the other 3 to a place where the tire was replaced. The next day I was in 98° temps, and my high temp alarm alerted me when a different tire exceeded 108°. Shortly after that the pressure alarm alerted me that pressure was dropping. Pulled over and indeed it was going flat, installed the spare, placed transmitter and proceeded to a tire shop to have new tires installed all around. Temps were still showing 108° on the two originals, so I stopped and let a few PSI out to help them stay together for the 40 miles needed, and reduced speed while monitoring. Reached a tire shop and put 4 new tires on the trailer and moved the newest one to the spare. I realize I should have better inspected the tires prior to my trip, but my EezTire system bailed me out. It allowed me to not have to replace my original wheels, repair damage to the underside of the trailer, or possibly leave me stranded on the side of the road when I could have had two flats on the one side if I had continued to tow with essentially one tire. Loss of signal happened on occasion (Yukon XL with 31' Ultralight TT, no booster, reader was sometimes sitting on my center console, sometimes window mounted). When signal is lost, the reader emits a short beep each time that tire info should be displayed. I power cycled the reader each time and allowed it to find the 4 transmitters again, with no beeps while searching. I found higher on my window (better line of sight) helped reduce signal loss. I will not tow my trailer again without a working EezTire TPMS. Money very well invested in my opinion.

Update!!!
Works great. Installed in our truck easy set up. We have a 40 foot RV, didn't need a booster. Great price! Great product! Update# Thought it was working all this time. No. A waste of money! It was definitely giving some tire pressure, we lost the whole wheel and drum. Never knew it. Still registered tire pressure. Still haven't found the tire. Somewhere in the dessert. Had to be flagged down by other drivers to let us know we lost tire, rim, drum.

Needed the repeater to get it to work on a 40ft fifth wheel
Bought for a 40' 5th wheel. Note that the color of the delivered unit (March 2018) was gold, and not grey/black as shown in the picture, on the box, and on the EEZTire website. I did contact them and was told that is the "new" color. It would have been nice to know - although they said they have no other color options. I'm trying not to hate the color. On the first trip of 1000 miles had maybe a 50% success of connection. It would start to beep after several minutes of losing connection to one trailer wheel or another. We ordered the repeater and installed in the front cargo bay of the fifth wheel for return trip and had no issues with connection after that. The repeater did not work when installed on the running light line which was feeding several lights and a backup camera and was measuring 11.8V even when truck was running. It worked fine when installed on a line tied directly to the camper battery which was about 13.2v when truck running. Nothing needed to be done to get it to pair, even though the directions seemed to suggest I needed to follow a pairing procedure. It is surprising how much the pressure and temperature increase while driving. I did test it by removing the sender from a wheel and it alarmed immediately for low pressure. I do like the unit now that we have it and it is working with the repeater. I do not like the color, or that we had to spend another $65 to get this to function properly when the cost of the unit already seems on the high side.

Very nice system. Easy set up and off you go. Completed 4000 mile trip with fifth wheel, great peace of mind. Only had to adjust high pressure limit only once and worked great after. Recommend this product for any trailer application when you are worried about blowing tires.

This is too replace a TST 507 tpms. The EezRV unit, after a 3000 mile trip, it’s much better. Screen is easier to see, refreshes faster, and most importantly less false alarms.

Pressures matched my digital gauge. Easy to set up. It’s the type of thing you don’t appreciate until you really need it. I had a blow out last year and like the piece of mind I get knowing this is constantly monitoring the tires. Could have gone with a cheaper model but so far after two trips I’m happy with my choice.

Upon opening the box first impressions of each component was cheap dollar store quality. I've bought many devices that mount on my windshield dashcams phone holder/chargers eyc. over the years and the one included with this kit is the absolutely cheap of cheap. In addition the casing for the actual screen module is same quality plastic. For a $350 unit they have completely cheaped out. Then I had the joy of attempting to get a couple of answers question from their customer service and that couldn't have been worse. First off they have no toll free number even for Americans and for Canadians that don't have an American calling plan you're stuck with emailing them. I emailed them that I had set my upper and lower parameters for my four trailer tires and now wanted to make adjusts to those parameters. I asked is there a way I can pull up on the screen the settings for those individual tires and make changes. Logically as I had been required to set the parameters for each individual tire during setup I assume there was an option to see my four tires and select which one I wanted to make adjustments to. After the response he sent me by email was not providing me with the visual results I was expecting I asked if he could call me. Instead of acknowledging that their system was not setup to provide the visual screen interaction I described he simply just went into an agitated robotic repeat of the email instructions . After repeated barking at me I finally realize my only option is dealing with a screen that shows you all 26 tires on a giant B train transport rig. So instead of seeing just your four programmed tires it turns out you must scroll through each axle of this big rig to get to the axle of the trailer that contains the sensors you activated and now even though this axle shows four tires instead of just the two you are supposed to know that you now make adjustments just to the whole axle instead of each individual tire as you were asked to do in the initial setup. Totally something from the dark ages the way this system is set up. And to do all this there was nothing intuitive you have to hold one button labelled Set for so many seconds till you hear beep and then press another button twice yada yada yada. What a gong show. It's like this thing was programmed 30 years ago and nobody has got with the program of using a Menu button with intuitive options you scroll through providing you with a visual of just your tires etc. Can't imagine while in the throes of driving on a freeway and needing to make adjustments on the fly remembering what multifunction button I have to do what with in order Make changes. And then to top it off when working through the archaic process with him I Let him know I finished making the adjustments and what do I do to save them he rudely says "well if you'd shut up long enough I tell you". I hadn't even been speaking while I was making the changes. Then the coward hangs up on me when I asked his name. If we weren't heading on our trip in a few days with too many other things to deal with I would return this unit and buy a different brand. Hopefully it actually works. After our trip I can tell you you better turn the unit on 5 minutes before you leave as that's about how long it takes usually to register each tire otherwise you're driving blind. Secondly almost once every 4-hour trip it loses all connections and needs to be turned off and on again And then takes 5 minutes to find all the tires again.

Just a quick review, the product was quick to install following the instruction provided in the box. No issues installing the sensor on to the trailer tires. Just a note that I had to get my wheel bearing re-pack so I replace the valve stems with metal stems. The pressure sensor was out by about 6 lbs on the first tire that I check. (Tire pressure measure 61 lbs but the sensor said 54). Knowing this, I used it as baseline as I was driving to give me feedback that I was having a leak more than over pressure.. The right-hand tires were 12 degrees hotter and was not sure why until I remember that the muffler was on that side. Over all very happy withe the product and would recommend it to both friends and family.
