Nice Little Alarm Clock
This is a nice little alarm clock. The black dial with white hands is easy to read. The tips of the hands aren't very bright, but if you really need to see the time in the middle of the night, you can push on the clock to turn on the back light. I appreciate that it turns itself off after 5 seconds because I like sleeping in a completely dark room. I've only had the clock for a month, but so far it's been keeping perfect time.

Good minimalistic alarm clock
I wanted a basic alarm clock instead of using my phone. The functions are very simple and well engineered. The lights work perfectly and the noise level is optimal as well in order to wake me up.

Not a Value
If quality minus price = value then this has negative value to me. I got a good price on this but Braun lists it at $40---this is not a $40 alarm clock.Pros: nice clean design and simple operation; top alarm bar leaves no question about whether you turned the alarm on (even in the dark); it is quietCons: plastic doesn't have to feel cheap but this does--feels like it could blow over if you turn on a ceiling fan--almostlike the plastic in a toy at Dollar Store; time and alarm adjustment knobs are way too small--even adding a 1/16th of an inch to them would help; snooze light works fine but takes some getting use to as it shines from the 5 o'clock position and light diffuses away from the hands---hands do glow a bit after the snooze light is on so that helps.I will keep it but would not buy again. The price for a simple alarm clock doesn't match the product.Just to add after a couple of days of use---the "foot" nightlight, touted in their ads, is just off. Since the light shines from the 5 o'clock position it shows the hands at an odd, non-90 degree angle making it easy to misread the time----a strange design.

A design classic with a couple of small negatives
Classic and stylish. Totally silent. Good alarm.A little smaller than I would have preferred, but it’s fine. I only gave it 4 stars because of two things. The base is smallish and lightweight, so sometimes I’ve knocked the clock over. It should a bit wider and weighted. I don’t believe it would compromise the design “purity”.Also, the knob to set the alarm time is only supposed to be turned in one direction (or, the instructions say, the mechanism could be damaged) and that is inconvenient, especially because the knob has a subtle, low profile and needs to be turned with care. Not for those with fat fingers. But sometimes it’s worth putting up with the negatives to have an object that looks so nice. I get a kick every time I look at it.Added October 2021: After having this clock for awhile now, I’ve found that the lack of a weighted base has been very annoying. The clock falls over all the time. I guess if you never move it or touch it, it won’t be much of a problem, but I shift mine around and it shares tabletop space with other objects, so it falls over constantly. Really annoying and, I think, a bad manufacturing mistake.November 14, 2022: So, the honeymoon is over with this clock. I just noticed I’d already complained about it falling over, but I came to reiterate that because it’s so annoying. If I even brush against it, it falls over. Also, in the couple of years since I bought it, the hour hand shifted out of precision timing. When the minute hand was on the 12, the hour hand was in the “quarter after” position. I tried to fix it, which was a big mistake. Now, the alarm doesn’t work, and it drifts away from the correct time. So, at this point, it falls over constantly and is only good for getting the general time. If I want an alarm or the exact time, I use my phone.Yes, I like the clock’s design, but I wouldn’t buy it again. It makes me wonder if it’s a bootleg version.

Perfect for my bathroom
This is about $15 less expensive on Amazon than other sites (including Braun). It's the perfect size, easy to read and looks fantastic in my modern bathroom (I'm a woman so need to know how much time I'm spending getting ready). It's a great clock.

Stopped Working
Loved the clock until a year later and it stopped working.

OK - but...
I bought the black version.Pros: small footprint on night stand. Classic look. No problem setting time or alarm. Packs and travels well. The little light does work well when you press on the clock, but I was hoping not to glare my tired eyes and be able to see the glowing hands in the dark.Cons: The hands are too similar in length, the glowing tips are so small, and there are no indicators at the hours or even at 12, 3, 6 and 9 hours, making it is impossible to read the time in the dark. You can make out where the clock is, but not be able to distinguish the time, for instance, is it is 5 minutes after 4 or 20 minutes after 1. or maybe 25 after 2.Give me back my old clock!

Quiet and perfect
This little alarm clock is packable, doesn’t “ tick, tick, tick”, perfectly quiet. You can press the clock down for a moment to get a light on the clock face for just a few seconds. It’s exactly what I wanted.
