Beautiful hair!
Ok so I read reviews on a ton of different brands of tape ins before deciding on these. I wanted good quality that didn't break the bank. I think I succeeded! Let me answer some of the questions that I know I had when I was trying to choose...Length/number of packs : I wanted my hair to be over halfway down my back.. Past the bra strap area, but not all the way to my butt. I ordered two different lengths, 22 inch and 18 inch, because it saved a little money and I know my stylist would be cutting alot of them to layer it and blend into my natural hair. The 22 inch was exactly what I wanted, it hit right around my lower back. I ordered 2 packs of each, total of 4 packs, but my stylist only ended up needing 3 packs total so I still had a whole unused pack for next time.Quality of the hair and tape: the hair arrived beautifully packaged with netting around the bundle to prevent tangling during transit. I was so impressed with the hair itself, it is so soft, shiny, the color was exactly as pictured, and it didn't shed from the tapes. The tape itself was good, it held in place in my hair well. My only complaint is that the tapes were not "invisible"... If someone looked closely and my hair was moving around, they could be seen. But I learned how to style it to prevent that.Durability over time : I kept these tape ins in my hair for almost 8 weeks. I did my best to take care of them properly, I braided my hair at night to sleep, I used sulfate free shampoo/conditioner, washed my hair 1-2 times a week, and hydrated my hair from the middle to the ends every day with a lightweight hair oil. However I also was a little rough on them, as I used a hair straightener on my hair 5-6 days a week, and I dyed my hair a couple of times. Overall these extensions held up very well! I had to learn which products worked best for them though. After about 3 weeks I noticed three extensions were looking a little rough, dry, more frizz than I liked. But I tried a few different conditioners and leave in products, and I found that if I apply a generous amount of hair oil at night (the one I use has multiple types of oil in it), avoiding my scalp and roots so the oil didn't get on the tapes, and braid it right after applying oil, go to bed, and when I unbraided in the morning my hair would be smooth and shiny. This improved the frizz and dryness so much, and I was happy with them again. They also took the hair dye well, I dyed them silvery pastel almost gray at one point and then a fairly bright purple. They looked great in any color! I attached pictures of each. After about 7 weeks my tapes had grown out to a point that they were not able to be hidden well anymore and several of them were coming loose, although not falling out. At almost 8 weeks I decided to take them out, which I did on my own at home. Taking them out took a long time because I needed to remove all the adhesive without damaging my real hair, but I did it and my natural hair did not seem damaged at all.Overall I am very satisfied with these extensions! I am currently deciding on new ones to buy and I will definitely buy from full shine again. I may go with fusion or u tip though, instead of tape, as I've had u tip before and I loved the fact that you could not see anything at all to give away that it wasn't your own hair. With u tip I was also able to put my hair into basically any type of ponytail, bun, ect, and you never saw anything that looked unnatural. However with the tapes, I couldn't pull my hair up into any kind of high ponytail or style without the tapes showing. But with either choice, tape in or u tip, full shine is an excellent brand to choose! And if you have actually stayed this long to read this insanely long review, you rock!! Lol hope this helped!

From a Hair Stylist: Please Read!
I’ve been waiting a week to see how durable these are, so I’m a week and a day in on Full Shine Straight #60 Tape In Extensions now. First let me say that these are amazing. I honestly can’t believe it for how much money I spent, which by no means that these are good for being cheap. They are good for being good. There is no difference in these and other SIMILAR more expensive ones on the market and these are all real hair. There is no synthetic hair mixed in. They feel amazing and are super super easy to do. These extensions are very soft and similar to my own natural hair. I have very thin hair because I’m sick and due to illness and meds I was worried about how these would look because of my hair falling out and was worried about them ripping the hair that I have out and ruining all my new growth. I’ve been having issues with my self image because of my health and hair and body issues, so I thought hey, why not just try it??? I’m so glad I did. I honestly feel more like myself than I have in 10 years. Unfortunately Illness not only wrecks the body, it wrecks the mind as well.So thin baby fine hair, almost to my shoulders but not quite. I put the 22in as the bottom layer, 20in in the middle, and 18in on the top layer. I did this so it would have natural layers because my natural hair is severely curly and I have major new growth and thin spots so I figured it would help blend. I did them VERY close together as well as to hide as much of my own hair as possible. The only natural hair you can see is the nape of my neck, hair around my face, and the very top layer. I put about 80 tape ins around my head which is basically about 40 sandwiches. This many gave a me not only length but a ton of body! Do NOT just buy 20 or one pack of these! That is not nearly enough if you want body AND length. If your hair is already long and you just want added body, then that is what one pack is for. I bought 40 for the 22in bottom layer, and 20 of each for mid and top layers. As for shedding and the wefts falling out. Thats nonsense. If you put them in the right way, and take care of these the way they should be. You can wear them until they need to be moved up.Doing these extensions has made me want to get stronger and beat these illnesses so I can go back to work and help people the way these have helped me. I’d like to say, Thank you to the Full Shine Team for remembering the little people who can’t afford thousands of dollars on hair needs and wants. You guys have made it possible for me to feel like me again, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea what you have done for me. Thank you. This is what you need to know to do these yourself with zero experience and zero knowledge.-It does not hurt if you get them too close to the scalp, but you do have to leave enough room to be able to fold the top extension up, stuck to your natural hair and sandwich the bottom extension to the hair that is already stuck to the top tape.-The hair you are sticking the top extension to needs to be thin enough to read a book through it.-It is not ok to just stick an extension in without another extension underneath it. This is why people say they fall out.-You HAVE to sandwich the extensions. If you don’t they have nothing to hang on to.-You HAVE to put a flat iron on the two sandwiched tapes for a second or two.-You HAVE to use needle nose pliers or a tape in extension tool to clamp them together while HOT.-You need to leave about 1 to 2 inches out at the nape of the neck and around your face.-On your sides, go at an angle.I’m the back, try and do a horseshoe pattern so it’s easier to pull your full head of hair up.-You HAVE to brush your new hair several times a day if you wear it down. If you don’t you will get knots and tangle’s because the extensions do not have your own heads natural oils to help with that and you will lose massive clumps from your weft. I have maybe lost only 10 strands by taking care of them!-Use Product! At least a heat protectant.-Wear it back or in a braid if you are being active. I can not tell you enough, do not let them get tangled.-If you splurge for these extensions, you HAVE to take care of them. You can NOT just put them in and have little maintenance. If you don’t do well with maintenance then don’t do them, or just do them for an occasion.
