Great Product for calming you cough during the wake up hours of the day.
Great lozenges for use during the time that you are awake but when you want to go to bed this product is not so good. You must finish dissolving these lozenges in you mouth before bedtime. The benefits of them will not keep your throat calm during the night at for me. I wind up using your liquid version which does the trick through the entire night.

It is a comforting lozenge in the throat. I don't know what it does, but I use it, probably for the warmth.

Why can't I find this in stores anymore
I HATE the taste of most Chloraseptic brand stuff, but his at least has a honey flavor that I can deal with. The other flavors are way too harsh. I love this one in particular but I can't find them in stores anymore. It's a shame cause the brand is great, their flavors are horrid. This is at least just honey. I swear by this stuff

Doesn’t numb, but soothes throat a bit
These are weak, go with another brand. They don’t numb. They taste good and soothes the throat only a little bit, wears off faster than a Halls cough drop.
